Even traditional Karate was based on another martial art. You can see the similarities between each martial art especially in Kyukoshin because it was so latly developed compared to the others.It even has stances from Kungfu and Shao Lin. It evolves, It becomes stronger,Faster and harder then those before.

SAIFA is not Kata of Kyokushin. It's Gojuryu Kata. Oyama learn Gojuryu and Shotokan. He put some essential Kata of those style emerged into his Kyokushinkai.
Saifa on this vid looks simalar to the type of saifa im learning but there are little differences that im not taught to do. The type of karate im doing is shukokai
