@FemaleFrogger You've never played it before? Your in fora treat, play with galspan for the first story line, Bora second. Bora has the harder missions and harder to use ships, besides their story of playing for the freedom fighters is really satisfying.

Personally i prefer GalSpan...i wont say why. Buts its related to the storyline.

Plus i think they have the best Ships, Weapons and Wingmen...

In one of the GalSpan missions...cant remember which, dont forget to locate the ship called "Persephone". It allows for an extra mission later on.

@Diablo666Daemon666 Did you play the game with a controller or just a mouse and keyboard? I have many controllers but some games play better with mouse/keyboard.

i use a combination of controller/keyboard. my joystick has 3 axis, 4 buttons, POV hat and acceleration controls. then i set my arrow keys (keyboard) to UP = Autopilot, DOWN = Reverse Thrust LEFT/RIGHT = Lateral thrust left/right. Then all other keyboard controls are as they are meant to be...

i find this technique to be easy to use and the ship control is quite smooth. my controller is the Saitek Cyborg 3D...pretty good controller actually.

the bora ships suck..they can only fire rockets and not missiles >.>

No its just a different style. Besides, a good pilot can evade missiles. Rockets; (especially plasma rockets) if properly used are more deadly.

Yes, you're missing the tachyon.cfg file. It's a problem with Novalogic's digital download service... what you need to do is download the Tachyon demo. After you install it, you can copy the tachyon.cfg file out of that folder and put it into your game folder. Problem solved.

Seriously, it's lame... for want of a 500-byte file they forgot to include in the retail download, you can't hear the radio chatter at all.
