The novel The Road by Cormac McCarthy was a fantastic read. I'm looking forward to seeing this movie soon when it opens in more theaters. The Thanksgiving holiday opening of this movie only got to around 100 theaters nation wide, so hopefully a great number more by the end of the week.

2012: CGI, explosions, no plot. Made for teenagers and stupid people.

The Road: Intellectual dialouge, based off a book (it has to be good) made for adults, and smart ones too.

The movie was so full of scientific and logical inconsistencies that I just gave up pointing out the "what-the-fudge?!-That's-not-e­ven-possible!!"

Yeah and drive through a building with a lemo. A lot a people can say "Oh the CGI is so good" but that those not matter if you can't tell a story with plot, people and many others.

Hopefuly Avatar is not the same as 2012, have you seen the "Making a video" that's out on youtube right now that's from Avatar? Watch that, if you ahve the time!
