I am so touched by this video, it really went deep into my soul. I was diagnosed in the Autism spectrum, and I hated the label. But after seeing videos like this, I can relate to others and feel that I was not alone through the sufferings in my childhood. I'd like to meet an Autistic child one day. I know I'd understand them better than most would.
Ya know I like this video and all.. my son has autism, but I will be damned if I let it take over his life! I am going to be with him every step of the way, and he will have all these things that this person did not!
I am 23, and my first memories I have of myself is when I was stimming, I considered it the best time of my day. I need a time of the day to flap, rock, run or spine self, it keeps me always from fast thoughts. I do not have physical meltdowns anymore, I usually get confused thoughts that stress me. I believe that if I jump an dflap I prevent myself from doing stuff I do not want to do, it keeps my mind running normally and I love it. In my language it means I am happy.
thank you for this video i have a 6 year old son with autism and i am and will try my hardest so he will never feel like you did you are a brave person and have a great purpose in life thank you.
@autumnmoonwv27 How is your son doing so far? Mine is 4 and can't speak sentences only little words. Do you feed him everthing? I heard that milk and cheese makes them worse. What do you suggest?
This is a very enlightening video which describes the way autistic individuals feel! I can relate especially after day getting my confirmed diagnosis of Asperger's Syndrome.
thank you for this video .and i will make sure to show both of my kids that they are loved and i am so proud of them. honestly, you have given me hope.
I'm about to start work with an 8 year old autistic boy (described as severely autistic) and has epilepsy (eye flutters etc). He is there, I know he is and I've only met him once. He speaks in the picture cards quite well, can do lego and even has a few words. He is violent at school and can't be included due to the risk he poses to other children. I hope I can help him. Thanks for such a powerful clip - makes me see things óutside the box' if you know what I mean :)
@OzZyFaN007 Hey- I'm sure your parents are very happy you are alive. I'm happy you watched my video & made a comment. You really aren't alone in your problems (believe it or not)... I know people with and without autism who have similar challenges. Hang in there. ok?
this is so sweet my little brother is autistic i do a camp for autistic camp we use gold stars for some of them some dont care and when they fill up a small chart they get a toy or some sort of prize and they love it the others we do other things to show congrats they love the camp i do other things with challenger kids they love it i dont get payed to do any of this im 15 i do it because i love to see the smiles on there faces to think they can so thing normal people do just a little different
This video was very insightful and I learned a TON from it. I had been diagnosed with autisim when I was young, though it was actually a coping mechinisim from trauma which mimiced autisim. Since I was old enough to understand this, and I had decided to become an early childhiid teacher, i've wanted to know more about autisim. if you still have contact with this person, thrillcats, tell him or her THANK YOU for writing and letting you make this video!
You so badly want to fit in and be accepted but how are you going to do that if you display certain characteristics that seperate you from the so called "normal" people. It would be awesome if the majority of people were understanding, educated, and accepting people but in reality they are not. It sucks and I wish it was not like that.
Hi, please is here somebody who can write this text on englisch on my e-mail . I have not found some precise video about autism in my lenguage.Nephew have the same behavior like I have in my childhood...he has different behavior than odher child.....I want to try help him, but I thing it will be ignored of my familly, but for me ist this information liberating
lol well that made nooo sense because they want a girl friend or a boyfriend or to be handing out with ppl but they don't want to and i doubt that being touched gently hurts doesent make sense BUT ITS A VERY GOOD VIDEO it just doesetn make sense in those two instances
this video broke my heart and gave me hope all at the same time! cause you went to collage and has a job that is something that me and my husband were told that our daughter will never have those things!
I'm so glad I have a husband. Even though he isn't autistic (though he has Asperger's traits), he could still relate to this video. No friends, couldn't fit in, the gold stars, not being understood. I also couldn't understand as a child why things had to be so hard for me. I also have AS. Now I feel normal today.
Oh why can't people accept harmless stims? My mom let me do my stims except for the ones she felt weren't safe.
Thank you for an awesome video. My grandson has ASD (Aspergers Syndrom Disorder) we struggle everyday for his life in school to be as best for him as we can. The schools need to be more educated they only look at the behavior not the catalyst that caused it. Thank you again.
I'm speechless but its very enlightening from a first person point of view. I understand more. I don't know who this person is, or if they will read this, but thank you.
thank you so much 4 this video. you give me more understanding about this disorder. my son was recently diagnosed with autism. it breaks my heart. take care & thank you once again xxx
thanks for posting this video was hard to watch because my son is going through the same challenges. more people need to know that kids with this disorder are just diffrent, they are not retarded or a danger to other kids they just see things diffrently and need to be included in activities and fun that other kids get to do. I know that there's a hard road ahead for my son but I'm hopeful that with all the support that I have and the loving family and friends that he has he will do just fine.
That's so awesome! I teach kids with autism and I know a great many of them won't have a significant other in their life due to their functioning levels, but it's good to know that there is hope! Thank you!
@TheChristianFairy ..Hey, It's great that you are doing so well..Love to hear it. Sadly this is not always the case. This point of view is perhaps a bad fit for you but it is real for some. Everyone is different..
@TheChristianFairy Yes, you are lucky. I am autistic; I have AS, 6/13/2010 Sharon and I have celebrated our 23rd wedding anniversary. I am blessed to have met her and we are 2 very much in love. I'm also a musician/singer/songwriter; 4 songs in autism awareness theme. I absolutely sympathize with what he said.
i know just how you feel, i go through the same thing, its really depressing sometimes, especially when people you hold close let you down
i stopped caring about what others think though and it works really relaxing, so what if they think im weird or dont understand me, ill live my life the way i want too
please dont say youll never get married though =(
you never know wholl you meet, you only need one person who gets you, someone you can connect with as well...
When i was young i loved to be touched by my mom like rubbing my back but only when i was really younger now i hate it, it dosen't even feel good anymore so it's not good
i may have some aspergerness inside my but i'm not full asperger..i'm 16.
I have Aspergers Syndrome, and I get very frusrated with loud noiss and crowds as well. Just today I got into truble for hiting someone who touched me so I looked on the inturnet for other people who felt the same way, and I found this video. thank you it was very good.
My son has autism he is 16, he is always in his room, talking alone, laughing alone, he is very smart! he has no friends, kids at school always bull him since kinder, it was hard for me, its hard we go to therapies, meetings, also has a mentor. How kids or grownups can be so cruel to them, Im Im a single mom, and its been so hard for me.
well if i can give a little bit of advice, dont try to hard to make him like "normal people" it doesnt go down to well with us ASDs
rather, try to see the world through his eyes, youll see hes got more in him then you may realize
not critizing your parenting btw, your doing a great job getting him the support he needs and i know for a fact you respond as parents should, in my experience its not what autists need though, we need love and attention for who WE are
ugh im an idiot im madly in love with an autistic girl i never knew anything about her liek this i took her to movies and tried to hold her hands i never knew it hurt her and its the last thing i wanna do and i just blew up telling her how lucky she was that she couldnt feel emotions cuz i felt emotional today and she sent me this video how can i show her how i feel without screwign anything up i know she cant feel but i cant help but feel terrible about what ive done plz help anyone
Being autistic doesn't mean you don't have emotions. Autistic people don't always express their emotions in ways that others do. Just thought you should know that :)
I never smile, i'm only happy when i laugh i don't want to show my emotions because i'm not that good at it and i am not fully apserger i'm 16 years old and don't want to be touched by my mom or anyone else because i don't like it anymore i liked it when i was younger.
What you've just said about you and your autism (if you do have autism, I think you do, but if you don't, sorry) is exactly the same as me and my autism.
I am 23 and have autism. When I was a child, I wasnt allowed to go onto the swimming pool with the other kids because the teachers said that the water would hurt my ears. I knew it was a lie, the only reason that my ears hurt at the time because children discriminate by yelling in my ears as a child. I was forced to sit while facing the wall while the other children were having thier fun and laughter. It tore my soul apart limb from limb. It was painful.
Hope now you overcome this kind of discrimination and ridicule. Its unfair! Don't worry life is still bright, u have ur loving family and God loves you.. ok
That is because there are hateful people who would give this video 1 star because of political reasons. I don't think that is fair to Marty or other people living with autism.
I don't think that it was for political reasons. They were probably just some immature loser hiding behind a keyboard.
However, this video does have a negative light on autism. I'm autistic and I never saw myself as a victim of autism. Most autistics don't want to be "cured" as it implies getting rid of their gifted talents.
my younger brother has autism, i'm just a teenager so no matter how much i understand about him, some of the things he does still bugs me and i can't help but yell at him somtimes but that has never stopped me from loving or standing up for him. he hates large crowds and likes the feel of eyelashes on his lips. I really love him. ^-^
wow. you have no idea how much this viedo helped explain things. for my acting class i was asigned to do a play in which i play a grown woman with autism. i know it doen't seem imporatant but it is to me. i hope i can do a good job. thank you again for this viedo. it helps so much.
Thank you so much for posting this video, it is so good to hear how you feel, this has helped me to understand our two year old with autism much better.
This made me cry. I know how you feel. I'm blind and am cognitively impaired. There are things that I just don't understand. I also struggle with not doing blindisms and it is so difficult. I'm sixteen years old and a m a sophmore at a Christian High School. The things aabout parties is what broke me. I never have been invited to a party before...I just wish people would ask.
Listen to this v-log with an Open Heart~! There are many strengths about having autism and that is where the energy needs to be placed. So often, there is "lack" mentality (deficits), and that brings on the frustration to all involved. These children are in the most joyful state of being when you let them BE! Maybe we can find better ways to interact. Show them that they are loved and accepted. LOVE them without conditions. Blessings!
Actually, my son talks all the time about one day being recovered and no longer having autism. He is happy because he can talk now, socialize, play sports, go on trips. He can do that because we are healing him- his gut, his brain, his immune system.
Sounds like great news. I have commented before; I have Aspergers Syndrome, a mild form of autism. I too thought I would never have a girlfriend. I have been happily married for 21 years. I don't think him or I will actually become totally NT, non autistic; but we can get other parts of the brain working that would otherwise go unused. People who had part of their brain destroyed by strokes do that. I too wish for him to fit in.
Why would it destroy lives i could think of worse things that my son could have, he is happy with who he is i should be too .. and i am he is Thomas he is who he is now
I have aspergers syndrome aswell. I always thought I was pritty normal but I never got any gold stars, had few, if any friends and I always found it hard to do things other people seemed to do naturaly. The teachers thought I was stupid/wiered but i've just gotten A*'s in English, maths and 100% marks in science. I can't wait untill i'm older to see if I get a good job, get rich and rub it in their faces.
I have friends whos 7 year old daughter is autistic. When I met "G" she would not look me in the eyes. Now she looks alot into my eyes, she holds my hand, she sits practically on my lap. I can touche her and she does not mind. Her mom says she does not do this with anyone else. Why is this do you think? Shes beginning to put sentences together as well. I will be getting her some gold stars. Any feedback would be of help. thanks.
this video made me cry, and i usually never cry, thank you so much for posting this, i love people, all people, and i believe they should all be treated equally, autistic or not, if i meet someone, "different" than anyone else, ill go out of my way to befriend them. I know i can never understand what people with autism go through everday, but it helps explain what everyone else can do, and not do, to make them feel, happy, and that they belong
I have asperger's syndrome, this video I appreciate. Because it really means alot that all this is said. I have alot of trouble speaking how I feel. Me typing is all different, then being able to speak it. If that made any sense...Well I want to thank you for this. It relates to me so much I can cry to think of it. So again thanks.
Yea, I have mild autism, and this is what it's like.
I used to get yelled at about it a lot, because I always have to be twirling or smelling something or my mind goes breserk, so this is really annoying, because when people are talking, I am usually doing this, and they always yell at me to look them so they Know I'm listening. Then i get the directions all screwed up, or don't understand what the hell they're talking about, and I have to be given specific instructions.
hi, im 26. im not sure if i have autism or not. either that or im a loner or a loser and i cant help snap outta it. im not good with conversations, i feel unease looking at people in the eye. i force myself hard to do so, so ppl dont think im weird. i dont sit at the dinner table at my gf's place with her family. i just don't feel like i belong, even tho they treat me very nice. she calls me a snob and i get mad. i have to try hard to get into conversations, thinking before talking.
I have enjoyed your video; friend from Aut Spks had lump in throat. In God's eyes you are special; view Autism has a God Connection.
I have asperger, a form of autism. I thought I'd never have girlfriend; been happily married for 21 years. View me by searching 'Hai Knapp' then click Viva La Company. I'm musician/singer/songwriter; wrote for affordable healthcare; now adding autism awareness to repertoire.
Do you blame your condition on mercury in shots? That's a concern of mine; Thimerosal.
A million gold stars to this person...and all others dealing with autism!
Tears poured at listening to the message; I have been aware for some time that my son Devin is most likely autistic. He has yet to receive an actual diagnosis (he's 3 1/2 years old) but his pediatrician agrees with me and has referred him to a developmental pediatrician to begin the diagnosis process.
Thank you for posting this...it helps me along the road to understanding my son and doing what's best for him!
It's hard to stop crying when you finally hear someone voice what I feel everyday. Although almost 5 years out of high school, I know my behaviors aren't like other people I'm supposed to act like but it gets me through the day... Sometimes. I have Asperger's, ADHD, and Major Depression. I only recently received help which is why I have such a severe form of depression. I quit trying to make things go away finally cuz I finally realized that they aren't. It's just 2hard2 deal with some days.
Dondigan- Thanks for commenting. I don't know if it will make you feel any better- but there are many people without ASD who have a hard time dealing with life. Most people on this earth don't feel like they fit in too.
I'm glad you were able to find some help. I hope you can find people to surround you who appreciate you for who you are. Wow- that was a lot of "yous". Anyway- thanks again for the comment. That's why I put this video together- so people understand.
Thank you. I was surprised that you responded to my comment. Most people don't say a word. It means a lot. I feel alone so many days, so thanks again.
No problem. My son has autism and one day he'll be YOUR age. And if he's having a bad day I would hope someone would give him some words of encouragement.
Although I am not at all diagnosed with what you are, but I have respect for you, for coming out with your "downsides", for showing people you are not afraid, for showing people your a true, deep, down-to-earth person.
I have Aspergers, but I refuse to let it cripple me. I had similar problems in school with hating physical contact and just not being really there all the time within this reality, but it was in middle school that somebody decided to reach out to me. It was then that suddenly all the gold stars in the world couldn't have mattered, because I was grateful for the good things I did have, and somehow I found myself. That's what brought me out of the darkness and I am stronger now because of it.
I had no idea. Autistic people are inside their heads and perceive the same world that we do? They are just hyper sensitive to things? WOW... My nephew is autistic. I don't know how to relate to him, but watching this video, I see how to relate. Just accept him as himself, and try to understand what he might want to avoid, and how to better relate to him. THANK YOU
Some people are actually HYPO, not hyper sensitive- meaning they don't feel pain like typical people. But, of course everyone is different, so you have to figure out how each specific person feels.
same here, I gots aspburgers too, and most of my imedent family treats me like a kid or retarted, even though I'm not stupid, in fact, I love to learn and I am smart. But I'm glad I have some friends to talk to, it really helps. if you'd like, send me note or something, and we can be friends too :)
i know how you feel i am disabled to i allways get called retarded and been through a lot of the same things to because of public school but i allways try to teach my special friends how to be happy thanks for the insporation friend
I have high funching Aspergers Syndrum & ADD. In high scool I was pushed to the side as well. They would not sit next to me in the luch room, they even walked away. No party invitations for me either. I had have very powerful advocat in my father. He has been always encourageing me to succed in life to be happy and to be myself. He is my good friend and knows when I need a good laugh. Now my cousin Jamie understand me & others with Autism. 5 Stars for the great job. Thanks for sharing.
My parents never wanted me to be like the others, and neither do I. I used to take it for granted, but the more I see about how other parents act, the more thankful I am that no matter how cruel my teachers and classmates and other people were, I'm always wonderful in my parents' eyes.
Thanks for posting this. I've been digagniosed with aspburgers syndrome myself, and listening to what is said, I'm glad to know I'm not all by myself. I know I'm weird, I know I'm different. But I'm proud of being different and he (she, but seems like a he, maybe?) should too. ^-^= S/he shouldn't be ashamed, I find commuicating online rather then face to face much easier way to connect to others.
I do believe it's an average of 1 in 150. But, we truly don't know the numbers, because the gov't is afraid to count how many people actually have autism. Wonder why....
Because if we could prove that the Food and Drug Administration had anything to do with it, there would be so many law suits, that it would destroy them! Even if there is a link to the shots they give to babies and Autism, they probably wouldn't admit to it.
dont you ever listen to any1 who trys to put you down.they dont have enough self confidence so they must pick on others to either fit in or feel "good".they dont know anything.
Thank you so much i played this to people and my family because i have a 4year old autistic son named Tazz and no one understands him especially other kids.Tazz doesnt talk not one word. You listed alot of things that he has to like he takes sleeping pills to and would rather get hit hard than soft by a stranger.Tazz takes sleeping pills &closes his eyes alot to bc he doesnt make eye contact. He understand sign language &can do some but he gets upset when people dont understand him. THANK YOU!!
tazz closes his eyes because his vision is affected by his equilibrium being thrown off,he doesnt know where his hands and feet are, give him deep pressure on his feet , some kids like that, try eliminating gluten, wheat, and milk from his diet, have you tried any chelation?
just this week my 3 yr. old son was diagnosed with autism. i pretty much knew well before that appt. he is such a beautiful ,wonderful and special child. i am quite lucky to be able to have such an incredibly dynamic child. he does have some hurdles to over come but i have faith in him.
good luck and hang in there for all of you that have asd or have a family member that does.
Does This Make Him Harder to deal with or do you find it to be easier, or nothing out of the ordinary. For my Pshchology class i was tols it would be diffucult to deal with or tend to an autistic child. i do not believe it to be 100% true. what are your thought. if you dont mind me asking.thanks.
my daughter has a form of autism, PDD-NOS, and I have to say she is one of the best and sweetest people I have ever met. I think maybe her disorder makes her better than other people, more pure of heart. She's always singing and smiling. I am lucky she is the way she is. :)
this video made me cry........ people who pick on ppl for being just a little bit different annoy me.... this video is so true....... thanks for posting it!!!
I have a three year old boy with autism, and im so scared for him. I will like to know more about any tips you have i could help him . HE ROCKS ALOT! got any suggestion?
I have Autism so does my cosuin who doesnt know how to speak or cant.
I say give your child alot of support thats what kept me going. My parents really cared about me and they didnt give up. I know I'd probably drived my parents NUTS! Haha..but I improved alot I'm in Highschool as a Freshman but I'm taking special classes for my language n' handwritting
Hi, i just managed to catch your comment as i listened to the video, i work for the National Autistic Society, now im not claiming i know every single aspect, and i dont claim to be an expert. dont be afraid of the future, its hard work and extremely rewarding, but remember, you must put the effort in to get results, as he's younger you may want to start with pictoral communication, kids usully grasp this quite quickly. if im honest its good fun working out what works and what doesnt.
you are not a freak, all autism means is that you can not communicate as well as other people, that does not make you different. some people can not under stand, and shame on them. great video
I have aspergers. My son is autistic. Life is very hard. I fit in nowhere except with my husband. My husband is unusual as well. He actually loves me FOR my aspie-ness, not despite it. He understands when I melt down and knows how to calm me. He has given me the greatest gift - acceptance and a sense of belonging. He gave me hope...for my future and my son's.
Hello! My name is Jen, I have Asperger Syndrome. Thankyou VERY much for posting this video on Autism! I have a little anxiety that I am not 'cool' and that I do not fit in the cool people and it makes me feel so 'uncool' if you know what I mean. Sorry everyone :(
I dont fit in with the 'cool kids' either and am not 'cool' either. And I'm not on the spectrum at all either.
I know this is cliche but just try to be yourself and you'll make the best kind of friend..the kind of friend you can be yourself with, instead of having to act 'cool'
awh this is so sad how he knew that he was never going to have a family of his own, and this breaks my heart. Im 13 years old, and i have a little brother that is 10 that has autism, and he is nonverbal. and i also wonder what he thinks . and i feel this movie has helped me understand a little it ,So thank you, thank you VERY much !
My kids display much stronger symptoms of autism, then I do(most folks wouldn't know I was on the spectrum)my kids respond well to affection like myself(i'm so happy for that!!), but certain sounds is torture for both me and my kids. With all their daily stemming, sometimes I feel i will lose my mind(i have suffered from clinical depression most of my life)but when i look into their eyes, their face, see them smile...peace comes. God Bless U for sharing this :)
This video is awesome and very touching thatnk you for sharing. I have a 3 1/2 year old autistic girl and I understand. It is difficult but she is our little girl. Even though we hoped that we could do more to help her, we accept her for who she is, and we hope that more and more people recognise how beautiful these people are. thank you
Thank you! My son has Asperger's syndrome, and he goes to a public school that supposedly has "experts" for this, but they don't seem to treat him any different than they would a child without a spectrum disorder, so "not as many gold stars" comes to mind. I would love to show this to them and make them realize it's not as easy as they seem to think it is for these children.
I think this video is terrific! I have a son that was diagnosed with a mild case of autism. I knew something was different early, but each time I mention these concerns to the doctor...many times I was told..."He will grow out of it." Well, when he does not grow out it...then what??? So, I encourage every parent that has concerns to do not let the doctor keep giving you the same answers when your gut feelings are telling you something is not quite right.
I don't know what to say...I still have tears in my eyes, coz i have a 9 y.o. boy with autism. Thank you so much for this, you've opened my eyes to the mysterious world of my son...you deserve the galaxy for this!
Thank you for making this video. Its videos like this that will help me in the coming years to remember to treat my child as a "normal" child... but as far as that goes, I don't want him to be "normal" his autism makes him who he is and i love him just the same.
this is so beautiful because I think this video says too much things that sometimes people with pdd can't say, or doesn't found the right words. Thanks for posting it.
I have a son who is almost 4 years old. Thank you for helping me understanding him more. For this video you deserve thousand and millions of GOLD STARS, because you are helping the other autistic spectrum kids and adults as well as the people around them. Thank you ********
Hi, wish we lived nearby. I sign - its gestural signing. I used to be very sad that I had to speak as this is like work, but I have two friends - one deaf, one who doesn't speak fluent English, with whom I can sign. I very much like to communicate through shared beingness. Don't forget there are some people who don't rely only on speech for enjoying company :-) Donna Williams *)

This is a very enlightening video which describes the way autistic individuals feel! I can relate especially after day getting my confirmed diagnosis of Asperger's Syndrome.

but they always put me down and still do,lazy, useless, i don't mean to upset them, but sometimes i just want them to leave me alone
thank you for putting the video here,
could anyone please help me with theses problems???

My mom let me do my stims except for the ones she felt weren't safe.

thanks for posting this video was hard to watch because my son is going through the same challenges. more people need to know that kids with this disorder are just diffrent, they are not retarded or a danger to other kids they just see things diffrently and need to be included in activities and fun that other kids get to do. I know that there's a hard road ahead for my son but I'm hopeful that with all the support that I have and the loving family and friends that he has he will do just fine.

My son has autism he is 16, he is always in his room, talking alone, laughing alone, he is very smart! he has no friends, kids at school always bull him since kinder, it was hard for me, its hard we go to therapies, meetings, also has a mentor. How kids or grownups can be so cruel to them, Im Im a single mom, and its been so hard for me.
lumoon09 2 years ago
well if i can give a little bit of advice, dont try to hard to make him like "normal people" it doesnt go down to well with us ASDs
rather, try to see the world through his eyes, youll see hes got more in him then you may realize
not critizing your parenting btw, your doing a great job getting him the support he needs and i know for a fact you respond as parents should, in my experience its not what autists need though, we need love and attention for who WE are

It`s funny that a major theme of this video is in giving gold stars, yet the star rating system is disabled for this video ;)
Khono 3 years ago
That is because there are hateful people who would give this video 1 star because of political reasons. I don't think that is fair to Marty or other people living with autism.
thrillcats 2 years ago
I don't think that it was for political reasons. They were probably just some immature loser hiding behind a keyboard.
However, this video does have a negative light on autism. I'm autistic and I never saw myself as a victim of autism. Most autistics don't want to be "cured" as it implies getting rid of their gifted talents.

Then i get the directions all screwed up, or don't understand what the hell they're talking about, and I have to be given specific instructions.
theres mo', it sucks

It's hard to stop crying when you finally hear someone voice what I feel everyday. Although almost 5 years out of high school, I know my behaviors aren't like other people I'm supposed to act like but it gets me through the day... Sometimes. I have Asperger's, ADHD, and Major Depression. I only recently received help which is why I have such a severe form of depression. I quit trying to make things go away finally cuz I finally realized that they aren't. It's just 2hard2 deal with some days.

Sorry everyone :(
ClownsandDolls 4 years ago
Jen, you have nothing to be sorry for.
My son has autism and I think he's supercool!
You know there are a lot of people who are uncool and they are not on the spectrum? Don't put so much pressure on yourself.
YOU don't have to fit in with other people- OTHER PEOPLE have to fit in WITH YOU! :)
thrillcats 4 years ago
I dont fit in with the 'cool kids' either and am not 'cool' either. And I'm not on the spectrum at all either.
I know this is cliche but just try to be yourself and you'll make the best kind of friend..the kind of friend you can be yourself with, instead of having to act 'cool'

If you want to stop vaccines from causing Autism, you must show parents how to protect their kids from diseases like Flu, TB, etc.
Vitamin C will prevent Flu. My 3 kids never get sick because they take 2 gms of Vitamin C hourly. None of us has been vaccinated. Youtube: paul8kangas
We can prove vaccinations cause Autism, because kids that do not get vaccinated, never get Autism.

Thank you very much. This video gave me strength and hope for my son who is autistic.

Thank you for making this video. Its videos like this that will help me in the coming years to remember to treat my child as a "normal" child... but as far as that goes, I don't want him to be "normal" his autism makes him who he is and i love him just the same.
