They prolly spend tons of money. Most games cost $1-$2, and some of the card-based video games can cost a fortune in cards + games.

That's the main reason why arcades are still flourishing over there. More people are willing to spend money at arcades. The US scene is an unfortunate side effect of the huge home based gaming uprising.
