The american public isn't ready for an esoteric pop star. It's too contradictory. People will just deem it as money-grabbing and attention-seeking when in actuality is a popular icon's attempt to bring artistic value to the masses, something that's inconceivable because popularity and high art have just don't seem to mix. I like her, and at least she is doing SOMETHING with a higher level of aesthetic value than most.

The absolute best show I've ever seen. 09/15/10 is the night I got to see her live in concert for the 1st time. It was my very 1st actual concert to go to and I'll never forget it. I especially loved the part of the show when she randomly took a fans phillies cap and then wore it during " Speechless ". That made my night. That and " Telephone " and " Poker Face ". She is truly one of the best pop stars on the planet. She's like the new Madonna, sharp,on point in every song and just plain great.
