  • Let's go JPM!!!!

  • 3:50 whats that i smell? or yeah......... B.S! We all know you where doing quad biking Juan, but thats why we love love ya!

  • He is a jerk and idiot! the most arrogant and mean person in this world. Colombians used to love him when he was big in the 00's but since he became so popular and rich, he completetly forgot his roots and his countrypeople. What a shame Juan Pablo!!!!!

  • come back to f1

  • AudiAMGBMW hey comes from germany, He is an ASSHOLE are you crying about Ralf Schumacher. You don't nothing about Formula1. JP Montoya was an great f1 driver. Greetings from the Netherlands mister AudiAMGBMW asshole

  • Awesome... JPM was awesome (back in the day) and Letterman was classic Dave. Love the comments about Danica. Thanks for sharing this clip.

  • haha takes alot of balls.... thats what she said ;)

  • I went to the canada grand prix and my respect for f1 drivers went up 800%. those cars are AMAZING! the breaking is just unbelievable. and the top speed it crazy.

  • I love how juan pablo montoya speaks in english his colombian accent.

  • I've never really liked NASCAR too much, but in this era of racing - the mid 2000s - I would certianly say that F1 was boring. The Schumacher years really made for boring races - not just in terms of the same result, but there wasn't really any exciting overtaking or anything. That's why 1988 is seen as a great season even though one team dominated - because the racing was still fantastic.

Since 2007 though, Formula One has really taken off again. F1 now is once again the exciting sport it was.

  • You call NASCAR a sport? Well, it's an american sport, and we know the standards of this country...

  • He's absolutely right when he says it's like comparing a pickup to a Ferrari. That's an accurate statement, because the technologies behind the cars are completely different and worlds apart. The methods of driving them are completely different as well, which Juan mentions briefly here.

  • Indy cars do over 210 at Kansas Speedway easy. I wonder what a F1 would do?

  • I think Juan Pablo Montoya is kinda cool.

  • @jvfunn3000

he is an asshole who could not cut it in F1

  • montoya !!!!!!!!!!!el mejor deportista colombiano de toda la historia ......is from bogota city

  • I can see that when Juan was a F1 pilot he used to be fit and listener and normal person whereas now I can see that not only he has got fat like an american and arrogant like a tipical american but also he thinks what he does is amazing like an american

  • He could have made F1 in the 2000s exciting, but he goofed around in McLaren. Apparently the tennis injury was actually not caused by tennis, but is actually a motorcycle accident. He shouldn't have entered McLaren!

  • Montoya has wins in NASCAR, CART and F1, he's an awesome driver.

  • @TheCarlsonsRaiders thats 3 wins in NASCAR I'm not impressed

  • @xJohnnyBoy94x Yes, but let's put Jeff Gordon in a Formula One car and see how well he does. For Montoya to come over from Formula One and be able to run with the best in NASCAR is very impressive.

  • @TheCarlsonsRaiders Im sure that jeff gordon cannot compete with any of the pilots in formula 1. they are two different levels like i said before. NASCAR only runs in circles and rarely do they compete in a circuit. a circuit imposes a different kind of strategy and requires much more skill than just driving in circles behind the tail of your opponent. In fact i want you to tell me the time difference between the guy who qualified first and the one who qualified last

  • @xJohnnyBoy94x I'm by no means a NASCAR fan, Formula One drivers have skill a NASCAR driver could almost never possess, they can turn right too!

  • @TheCarlsonsRaiders you got that right man!! haha

  • @xJohnnyBoy94x Yeah but each car is the about the same and hardly even differ from aerodynamics, so NASCAR there is always something going on. A wreck at turn 3. A lead change. The leader is pitting. There is so much going on as any other motor sport. Oval racing is not as simple as going in a circle and winning a championship. NASCAR is about endurance. The difference between the person who qualified first was faster than the guy who qualified last. Simple as that.

  • @TheCarlsonsRaiders He did only about a second off pace with Juan's first time around, but Juan has experience with road courses. Jeff has lived around where oval racing is big so that's what he did. If Jeff was more experienced with road courses I think he could've done better.

  • My god , I'm from Italy and if all the world could see how mainstream media in Italy depicted Jaun Pablo Montoya in the past ...well everyone would easily understand why Italy is so low in the list of the free information .

We have had one of the most talented driver of all the time showing his incredible tlent at once also in F1 and the corrupted mainstream media denigrated him allthe time .

  • I'm Trunks... i coming from the future... Juan... in Five Years you will driving those Trucks that you call NASCAR... LoL

Shame on you Juan Pablo... You just knew that you´re not at the level of the Formula 1 and went to Stock Cars...

  • pick-up and ferrari almost make me pee in my pants

  • juan taco monbeaner=idiot..lmao but i do like the way he butts heads with crybaby happy harvick..lol

  • Whatever you people say about Monty, you gotta admit this one; the guy for sure has a wicked sounding name!!

  • Pickup truck and a Ferrari, awesome comparison.

  • I used to not like Montoya, but I'm starting to like him this year. He's one of the greatest racecar drivers in the world as he's a former Formula 1 driver and most inportantly, he's a winner of the 2 biggest races in the world, the Monaco Grand Prix, and the Indianapolis 500.

  • Never believe a racecar drivers account of a crash. Especially Montoya's.

  • what a hypocrite, he praised f1 when he was still in f1, now he is praising NASCAR

  • jpm is a cool guy and great driver. just dont hit him on the head with a camera

  • OMFG. "and there he is juan pablo montoya" and they show Raikkonen

  • @FISHURMOMBALL really? how do you know?

  • @FISHURMOMBALL check out the helmet...it's the Colombian colors...it IS JPM

  • @geetarbube lemme go check again

  • ps la gente le tiene rabia por creido pero me parece bobada que se pongan a hablar mierda de el si no lo conocen.

  • fuck montoya

  • montoya es un hijo de puta

  • JP!!!!!

  • hahahahahahahahahahaha :D

  • Surely the most talented driver of the lat 15 years

  • Was that a joke? Have you heard of schumacher

  • Actually the most talented driver of the last 15-20 years was Ayrton Senna. Schumacher had gained a lot of his wins by outright cheating.

  • ya man I wasnt thinking about Ayrton. If he were still alive everyone would be talkin bout him instead of schumi. So I agree and Ill take back the michael deal.

  • @ocf1fan1

"Schumacher had gained a lot of his wins by outright cheating"

yeah 91 wins and most of them were by cheating... lol you're a fucking retard, just think.

  • To "joyfulvulture", You should behave like a real person, not like a freakin' YouTube commenter. No I'm not a "fucking retard" as you had so very falsely said.

  • @ocf1fan1

why do you make retarded comments if you're not a retard?

  • To "joyfulvulture", No I don't make retarded comments at all. It's obvious that you know barely anything about F1 & motorsports and here you are bashing on me.

  • @ocf1fan1

lol you're right, i've barely missed a GP in 15 years and went to 7 of them myself, but i dont know anything about F1.

keep living in denial, such an attitude will ensure you stay a retard all your life. congrats.

  • @ocf1fan1

lol you're american and try to come out as an F1 expert... can you even watch all the GPs?

  • To "joyfulvulture", I had never specifically said that I am an expert on F1 racing. Look, the person that knows the most & has the most experience & expertise in F1 is Bernie Ecclestone and you're definitely not him. You say that I "live in denial", when you're the one that said false accusations to me by falsely saying that I'm a retard like how you did. I really hope that you don't have any children, since that's how you treat other people.

  • I think you mean 'raw natural talent'

He is a bit of a jackass but an oustanding driver.

  • @mgarofano why do i have to see a comment from u on every montoya video? thats strange really do u work for montoya or what

  • Soy Colombiano.. y Montoya es un cretino soberbio..!

  • pienso lo mismo parcero....

  • envidioso paisa hp.....

  • no soy paisa... pero creo yo que por tu envidia en particular debes ser un rolo, jejeje

  • @EricMosvel no me refiero Montoya me refiero a usted

  • @leonardordel92 yo tabn me refería a ud rolo cretino

  • what a shame for colombia you are!

he is not on a beauty pagent, the personality is not what makes him good or bad at driving duh !

plus he is by far the most famous figure in sports in your country

    soo shut the fuck up!

  • por que no te cierras la boca tu, manteca mejor vaya ver novelas que se yo. A qui en Colombia tenemos a muchos deportistas más importantes e importantes en todo sentido..!

(lucho herrera, fabio parra, maria isabel urrutia, diego salazar, santiago botero)

    cierra el pico locaaaaa

  • hahahahahaha

    two words: anger management.

well here in USA no one know the people you just mentioned, they just know JPM..

I don't like soup opera, that's for latin people LIKE YOU, so you go watch it

and it seems that I am not the one calling you "manteca" or "loca" so I am not the crazy one (:

by the way, you don't have much friends, right?

have a nice life and go get a psychiatrist

  • @TheRura23

Bla bla bla.... A mi no me gusta JPM y punto, ni como persona ni como deportista, es muy engreído. Acaso tu eres familiar de JPM?

Ah y si tengo muchos amigos, tal vez más que tu! por ultimo solo me falta decirte

shut the fuck up!! hahahaha locaaaa

  • F1 is the fastest auto racing in the world when you combine both acceleration and braking. Acceleration up to 3g's and braking up to 5g's. Which also explains why F1 drivers are one of the most well conditioned athletes in the world.

  • @ayrtonsenna75 And even cornering forces up to 3 - 4 G as well. It's mental. I love it!

  • He's a badass. Treated Schumacher like just another competitor. Treats Nascar like just another challenge. Real cool character.

  • i just recently became a fan of him....ppl need to realize how talented this guy is hes on his way to possibly becoming a nascar champion on top of winning the indy 500 and racing f1

  • montoya made the right thing going to nascar, with has great races, instead of boring F1 races.

  • you know , you know lol how many times did he said that lol

Juan Pablo Montoya is awesome !!!!! #42

  • Juan Pablo Montoya. From Colombia? What's not to like? He's an intelligent man, a funny man, a humble man.

  • juan pablo colombia oh yeah

  • juanpablo montoya colombia esta con tigo men

  • Montoya temperament fired up the snob world of F1 where this temperament is unacceptable. In Nascar is a bit different but you cant be dangerous at your collegues anywhere.

I liked his cheeky style he melted Schumachers percection...

  • Another video is now forbidden.

Schumacher vs montoya du dust .

I suppose that to forbid video is one of the clearest signals of the weekness of F1 management that in this way would close the way to all the people that now are going to understand what happened against Montoya and how extraordinary was his job also in F1. Simply shameful ....the dirty game never finished

  • de_dust in cs? schumacher vs montoya at de_dust nice video

  • Where can i see this video ?

  • It was a joke man, mgarofano said this:

    "Another video is now forbidden.

    Schumacher vs montoya du dust"

  • The 'pick-up v's Ferrari' comment was meant to symbolise the technical differences between F1 and NASCAR - at the time of this interview. F1 car parts when crashed or dented have to be replaced, either that the car retires. NASCAR car dents and bumps are repaired with a sledge hammer. A simple analogy, but that's what JPM meant. No disrespect at all, and I love watching JP in NASCAR. He's getting better by the week!

  • Juan Montoya is surely one of the best drivers of the world and ........he is doing a good job in nascar to. I just would like to undeline here ,that the most famous video ( more than 700 000 watched ,two years old) about Juan Montoya battles and wanderful fight wheel to whell ,have been censured by F1 management all of a sudden.

  • @TrueImage66 no at this tiime techical explanation

f1 just blow away nascar! (not racing and overtaking.... horsepower weight wing.........)

  • @TrueImage66 the guy explain it really well one side technology other side not that technical... but racing is another story

  • WOW talk bout puttin your foot in your mouth....pick up vs. ferrari? (nevermind that ferrari is YOUR NEMESIS!!!and youre givin em free publicity??) couldnt see NASCAR carrer coming huh!!??? Shish!

  • pick up truck compare to a ferrari. NICE! nascrap sucks!

  • Why does he 'suck'? Can you not use any other descriptive nouns to describe your feelings toward/about JPM?

I look forward to your reply. TI

  • @TrueImage66 Look dude, he is a great pilot full of skills and all that but he is a complete idiot! F1 is the highest you will get in the world of motorsports.NASCAR is the most mediocre racing league I can think of. F1 tracks require skills, reflexes, and requires a lot of engineering to get the car to first place. Engineering in NASCAR is very slow and limited because there's not much to it in an oval track. So to go from the most respectable championship to watching hundreds of laps on a oval

  • This guy is awsome. You just cant get enough of him, i been following him for 10 years and this guy never bores you, not even in NASCAR, i like how he spins out those wannabes(O=)

  • jaja que maricas!!! adelante montoya

  • Hey Montoya...life is a Bitch then you Die... Go JPM!!

  • I love you JPM. You go and get those NASCAR dudes! I can't beleive I just said 'dudes'.

  • he s adorable!!! "you know.."

  • andrakate5

You forgot the apostrophe in 'he's' when posting your comment.

    Tut.

    ;0)

  • So, now he's driving a pick-up truck.

  • Volte para a F1 Montoya!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A Colômbia deve se orgulhar dele!!!

    Grande piloto!!

O Brasil adora ele e os comentaristas semrpe falam de uma possível volta dele!!

    faz falta!

  • haha

i think its funny he was talkin crap about nascar

and now hes in the cup series

  • indiedog1981

Juan Pablos first language is not English. Unlike us the UK and USA. At least he made the effort to learn a foreign language! That, and he's a shit-hot driver. Sue me.

    Love you JPM!

  • how many times does he says...you know...

  • te amo

  • The greatest guy in F1! For sure!

  • Congrats on getting rookie of the year 2007...pick up style!

  • Yeah he did a good job racing with the good ol boys. I cant wait to watch him again, i predict he'll win 3 races and be in the chase. I'm also looking forward to see how Sebastian B does in F1. I think Hamilton will pull it off this time and take home the crown. He's just too talented not too.

  • No way! Raikkonen will do it again! Hamilton will do it at some time in the future but not in 2008.

As for Juan, what a shame his F1 career was spent only in Williams and McLaren; the two teams with the two biggest twats for team bosses. Had he raced for Ferrari or Renault (in either 2005 or 2006) who knows, he just may still love the sport...

  • It'll be interesting to see if Raikkonen can win back to back championships. He definately has got the skill to do it but Hamilton wow what a season! I still think he can win it. We'll see i cant wait. Yeah it was a shame Juan left F1 but he wasnt happy there. He's got i think 4 years left in nascar. He'll be too old for F1. I'd like to see him do WRC racing. If he can win there man whats left to conquer? 24 hours lemans maybe? ;)

  • Either that or the obvious alternative which is DTM where half of Formula 1 alumni seems to go these days. I remember David Coulthard saying that he would consider NASCAR after his F1 career (which can't have too many years left in it let's be honest) so would be interesting to have two former Williams and McLaren drivers fighting it out in NASCAR too.

Of all those 4 (NASCAR, DTM, LeMans and WRC) I see Juan sticking to NASCAR.

  • Me too he seems very happy there. Any word if Villenueve still gonna race in Nascar? I dont get why Bill Davis didnt have a sponsor for him. Isnt that his job? What i dont get is why he ended up replacing Jaques with Johnny benson (a rear pack cruiser) and the car still dont have a sponsor. Lame excuse is what i think. Bill is an idiot if he thinks Johnny or skinner can do a better job. At least Jaques got the car closer to the front which is something both cup drivers wont do. Bills loss. :/

  • Yeah I don't get it either. Who knows about Jacques and all them? Should be interesting to say the least.

As for the 2008 F1 season...bring on Melbourne (which I will be at btw :D)! That will be close at every end of the grid this year!

  • Lucky lol. I wish i could go grrrr lol. Anyways have fun there. :)

  • "Have you ever driven a pickup truck and a Ferrari?"

    lol, Nascar got exposed.

  • lmao

  • GO JUAN LEAVE HIM ALONE HATERS!

  • hohum.. americans and their racing...

  • It's interesting seeing his analysis of F1 and Nascar, especially "for show" thing, haha. Good video!

  • I'm sure he has more class and more culture than you dunbass. He came from a well developed capital of a country, and got all the way to the top....... What have you done again?

  • More than you have.........punk.

  • Ok I guess cussing reporter and fans is a class act huh? I am a race reporter and he is by far the biggest ass in the garage area, ask ANY other driver. As far as F-1 goes comparing F-1 and Nascar is like comparing apples and oranges. 2 totally different kinds of racing.

  • wow! that's original!

  • I would love to hear you speak in Spanish... Woudn't you like to pay the taxes that He does? I think papers are out of the question, don't you?

  • he's cute;D

  • fomrmula one are the fastest cars in the world nuf said

  • Funnycars and Topfuels are shitloads faster.

  • For a quarter mile in a straight line the drag categories are faster, but nothing can compare to an F1 car flying through a chicane at 140mph. Greatest show on earth in my opinion.

  • F1 is lots of things but it isn't a great show. Every notice that when an F1 fan talks about how great the sport is they put it in terms that have nothing to do with racing? The cars are tremendous but I can't get anything out of watching an F1 race that I can from watching a single F1 car go around the track. The "races" are mostly just processionals.

  • are you kidding?! Can I assume you are a Nascar fan? You like cars just running around in ovals like hamsters? How exciting!!!! Now that's racing, right? lol

  • Racing is racing brother. whether its on an oval or a road course it's all about putting horsepower down. Nascar has road courses too. Mexico City,Montreal Gile villenueves track, Watkins Glen, and Infinion race way. Now try that without traction control and a heavier car with no down force.its not as easy. f1 will do without tc this year so it'll be interesting, cant wait to watch.;)

  • Nascar DOES take skills, but the learning curve is so much more steep in F1 due to the braking and cornering force of the car and the complexity of the tracks. Why do you think the guys can easily go from F1 to Nascar (e.g. Andretti, Montoya) but not vice versa. While which is better or more entertaining is a subjective question, in terms of size, revenue, fans, buget, technology, and driver's skill level, F1 is the Yankess and Nascar is the Duram Bull.

  • All disciplines of racing takes skill. I think Tony Stewart and Jeff Gordon can easily go from Nascar to F1. Well i dont know about Stewart cause i dont think he can fit in a open wheel car anymore lol! check out when Jeff Gordon and Montoya swapped rides. both did pretty good for the first time in different cars. I could care less which style of racing is better cause i love all racing.

  • Nascar so different from anything else (e.g. F1, IRL, LMP, WRC), Nascar will easily turn a once a gifted young driver into a one trick pony who's only good at Nascar. Jeff or Tony might've been once a solid race car driver outside Nascar, but now they are probably only good at doing that or similar racings (Nascar stunts your growth as a driver in anything else). Besides, they are too old anyway (F1 doesn't take on a rookie in his mid thirties).

  • whether its nascar or F1 or even IRl you got to be a gifted driver. If it was that easy then me and you would be there racing instead acting like we know it all behind the computer screen by just reading stats. A good race car driver can race anything(Montoya,Stewart,Gordon)By saying they are trick ponies cause they race for nascar really shows what little you know about racing. You try it and be successful at it and i'll take your post seriously. Other than that i'm gonna enjoy the Rolex 24.

  • Good race car drivers can run anything; however, most Nascar drivers are just good Nascar drivers. You are just playing a crude semantics game. And, geez, dude, just like it shouldn't take a veterinarian to know the difference between a horse and a cow, it shouldn't take a race car driver to know that Nascar drivers are far more one dimensional than guys driving LMP cars, single seaters, or most other racing machines. Vastility is not their strong point.

  • I apologize if i came off as rude. As i read your posts you said nascar does have skill, then you said how nascar can easily turn a gifted driver into a trick pony. If you look at other nascar drivers background you'll be suprise how many are former open wheelers. We both are race fans but lets not try to dog the drivers that work their asses off to entertain us with their talent whether its F1 or Nascar. Our post dont have any credibility unless we've accomplish what they did.

  • You just dont get it, and no one can dumb it down to a level you can put your tiny mind around.

  • what's the point if all they can do is go straight for 6(or whatever) seconds

  • we need montoya back in F1!!! it was more exciting with him racing F1 cuz he just doesnt give a shit. really aggresive on the track.

  • That's cause he's used to racing in series that actually.... well... race. F1 "races" are parades where you just hope your car doesn't fail.

  • i give him credit for that but he can be an ass hole.

  • ohhhh please Juan stop that ''you know'' thing!!!It really gets on my nerves...

  • pickup truck and a ferrari hahahahahahahaha !

  • its hard to keep your head in the game win your doin lines all night.. Hello. Columbia! Dont be so naive. thats why he is coming to nascar so he can party and live in the US!

  • for your information is not COLUMBIA its COLOMBIA

  • damn I misses Montoya

  • a montoya me lo meo, chacaco hp

  • what an irony, now he's driving a pick-up... shame!

  • Formula 1 is a parade, JPM wants to race

  • formula 1 is the toughest race series to get into. jpm couldn't hang while he was there so he went to nascar to win, not race.

  • JPM won 7 f1 races bro even the coveted Monoco gp. i thought he hung real well. He was even offered a ride from Torro rosso but turned it down. Just too many politics in f1. i agree 100% with drinklime, JPM just wants to race.

  • Montoya had a bit more raw talent IMO, but I think Kimi had himself more collected than JPM and seemed to be more determined at his task. Add to that JPM had the lion's share of bad-luck in the 05 season, as he mentioned above, and them the lacklustre 06 season started, and he seemed to have just lost all motivation. Shame, because he would have been the fastest if he had applied himself Schumi-style.

  • Not the best ever, but he was in the top twenty fastest, without a doubt. He had so much raw talent, hence why he licked the CART series so sharply, but he couldn't get his head in the right place, and Raikonnen just proved to be a better driver all-round, if not a little quicker.

  • Montoya ist der Adonis vom Motorsport.einfach geil.

  • Such a shame him gong to Nascar... such a shame... i mean when you look at todays formula one with michael gone and a pussy like Alonso bing the champio.... to hell with it i am losing interest in the sport...

  • I think Juan is a good guy and will bring alot to the sport.

    -xMary

  • montoya isn't talented and he finally realized it:he's driving trucks in Darlington now.Formula 1 is CAR RACING

  • F1's loss is NASCAR's gain, I think he was badly treated at McLaren, it's a shame. He brought to F1, much needed colour & excitement.

  • david letterman is a bunghole

  • JUAN PABLO MONTOYA....

  • lol and guess where he ended ?? NASCAR, so enjoy truck racing lol

  • JPM RULES!!! What a great interview! VIVA COLOMBIA!

  • what a sound guy seems really down to earth

  • what a wonderful guy! Funny and natural..he stood up at the end..class cannot be faked..

  • WOW!!

    THANKS FOR THAT!!
