There are two things wrong with your theory:

1-Halo reach came before halo 3 chronologically but the games are out of order

2-If you read the Halo books you know master chief does go on reach as do all the Spartans from the original programme to try and save the planet but it gets glassed and master chief survives on the Pillar of Autumn

Spartan-117 is also on Reach before Halo 1 as well because after he escapes on the Pillar they come across the first Halo ring (reference Halo Fall of Reach)

Halo 1 happened when Chief fled reach and encountered Halo then he returns to reach in First Strike. Either way, Nylund didn't stay consistent to his writing of the book Halo: Fall of Reach. There were no spartan III's until after the events of first strike. All in all, the chronology/idea of this video doesn't match the story.

You know, that model of ship was fucking pretty damn common. It's a frigate, one of thousands in the UNSC fleet. To name a few seen in the series, we've got 'In Amber Clad' in Halo 2, and the one seen in Halo 3, 'Forward Unto Dawn'...

It's just coincidence. Also, Reach wasn't 'Destroyed'. The Covenant really never completely 'destroyed' planets. They made them mostly uninhabitable, by "glassing" them, via orbital bombardment of the surface of the planet, via plasma turrets.

If I might add... You all remember the end of Halo: Reach, right? How there is a transition between the barren waste land and the grassy fields? Well, it didn't get like that in 10 seconds, not to mention, if you look at some multiplayer maps Reach is in the background, and the amount of destruction that still had yet to unfold after 6's death. I think with the geological changes being an indication of the times, it is quite possible that he did land on Reach.

I disagree you gotta remember the timeline! The timeline of events in the halo universe is Halo Wars, Halo Reach, CE,2,3, and I think ODST takes place around the same time as 3. In Halo Reach you are defending the pillar of autumn, containing Cortana, the AI robot thingy. In Halo 3, Cortana is basically your third eye! Even if that was a ship, which really looks like a mountain, that couldn't be Chief's ship, and I doubt a person in Cyro Sleep would survive a crash like that.
