I love this show so much. I usually watch the History channel or Discovery. But this was the ONLY show that made me watch Network TV again. They need to bring back Snake Doctor and the gang. PLEASE CBS!!! Do the right thing for a change.

How they let shows that pull 4.0 ratings stay, yet cancel The Unit when it was pulling 10.0+, I'll never know.

supposed to be about delta force. I know it wasnt "5 by 5" but it became my favorite show. One thing I'll note is that you cant have a bomb tech out with shooters very often because they are highly trained and too valuable. A delta unit is a counter-terror unit as described to me by command circa 1988. I was recruited but went to federal law enforcement instead. Accurate no. But a great show. HUA.

If they can bring back family guy or keep shows like 2 and a half men on the air or have all these mindless shows like "the hills" or "kate plus 8" then they need a show with some substance like THE UNIT. They need to bring it back at least for one last season or a movie, but we the fans deserve somee type of closure. HOOAH!!

This is going to sound weird, but I'm glad they canceled it. It was getting too unbelievable and trying to compete with "24". Go back and watch the first two seasons and you can see that there was more depth to it.

@taistelutomaatti he married a women who the DoD thought was a russian spy because of her affiliations with Russia. A women from the DoD came to Mrs.Blanes apartment to tell charles wife that if she marries him he will be kicked out of the unit. It happened in season 4 around the late episodes.

i agree with less focus on drama but every show like this need drama somewhere to spicy up the action more, drama gives action drama if you really consider it, the unit was and still is my show, Dennis Haysbert was way better as a soldier than the president on 24, just name a show that comes close to this one, how many special oops shows you know with success granted the writters did lack millitary vision, but this show still is my all time favorite, got the theme song as my ringtone lol

yes I am in the U.S. Army....and just hope that maybe within the next ten years the concept of this show could come back and re-do itself...the right way...with writers who are prior service military and also have military techincal advisors to bring that realism to the show...but oh well.

first off, thanks for what you do. im just curious. i myself am a huge fan of JAG and am sad to see it off the air. how do you feel that show stands up to The Unit, technical-wise? I know it may have been about the marines and navy, and not a lot about the army, but that show was created by a former marine, so i do believe he made sure it was as accurate as possible.

At the beginning of this series. It sounded and looked cool. But then as the series progressed...I had to stop watching this horrible show since my blood pressure would rise everytime when I saw the the inaccruate obsrudities and wild tales of drama. Seriously? Was this show a Soap-opera or was it a military action show? Yeah both is great but yet again this show lacked the proper military direction and writers to provide that. Sorry but this show gets a failing grade, and before anyone asks...
