  • There's a word for this guy: Paranoid.

  • @largesatsuma And there's a word for you: Simpleton. And its called being prepared dumbass...

  • @largesatsuma totally agree. and wtf is SHTF?

  • Nice kit. Think about adding coveralls and gloves. Sure comes in handy when changing tires.

  • What about a wool blanket?

  • zombie Apocalypse here i come

  • Why no medical kit?

  • Why does the F*@%ing commercials play with no problem but when it trys to stream the video I want, it gets stuck loading!!!! Why?

  • Some people may recommend carrying a flashlight, but experience has told me to carry a portable jump starter and a 13W automotive florescent with a 10ft cord. I would not recommend fusing a flare to check out the engine compartment if anything was to go wrong there. Oh, it wouldn't hurt to keep a tarp on there too, sounds silly but a general purpose tarp once kept the inside of my car dry when hail actually managed to poked holes in the ceiling window.

  • preparation is key

  • what you really need

    1. intelligence

    2. food

    3 water

    4. gun

    5. tool set

    6. fuel

    that is all

  • @ListenToKimmi

I can think of several uses for road flares...maybe you should add that to your list.

  • you dont have glass braker hamer

  • @fredyf111 It is in the center counsel of my truck.

  • The belt is a good call, but I don't understand the spark plugs. Do you foresee a situation where you're going to have to do routine periodic maintenance by the side of the road? If so, it makes much more sense to carry an oil filter and 5 quarts of oil, because the replacement interval on that is much more frequent. Spark plugs don't fail, and if they did it wouldn't leave you stranded.

  • dude, you forgot lime and a shovel

  • you should add an emergency poncho, There is nothing worse than working on your car in the rain.

  • I winched everything a tool was dropped onto that dining table. I hope you have a bag with wood finish repair supplies.

  • I think you got just about any situation covered! Just 1 thing I didnt see I thought you might want to get a roll of "DuckTape". I have a simalr bag I have a roll in my bag.

  • i'm a girl.

    i don't even have a car.

    i can't even drive.

how the hell did i get here?

  • u bring too much thing in ur truck hahahha !!

  • I saw your video about the emergency backpack for your kids. You're a great parent. (:

  • they make something to help break the law by stealing gas hell yes

  • @daybydaysurvival Available in most automotive sections or at truck stops. :D

  • my dad he has a b.o.b and he has a road flare

  • I have just about every thing on your list, but I will also bring along, a jug of motor oil, jug of coolant, other fluids(brake, transmission), fuses, bolts, pins, screws, extra hoses, clamps, wire "zip" ties, and don't forget the duct tape.

I also keep a craftsman tool set with about every tool I I would possible need to make repairs in my truck at all times.

  • Hey buddy, run a simulation of a breakdown and check your tools, some of the tools they sell in stores are pretty crappy. Test out everything to carry and you can be confident it'll work when you most expect it :)

  • keep $40.00 in cash stash away in the bag for gas money... just in case. ;)

  • Nice setup. I might recommend putting that trailer hitch on your car now. Not only saves room in the bag, but saves your car if you get rear-ended at low speeds. Happened to me twice and my truck is still fine. Can't say the same for the cars that hit me!

  • nice vid. do you have the wrench bit to change the sparks?

  • wats shtf

  • @poorkiller10 i think it means shit hits the fan

  • @poorkiller10 "Shit hits the fan" implys a situation involving major civil unrest or otherwise a chaotic situation where its every man for himself. In this case its a vehicular emergency. My SHTF bag contains modern day C-rations, water, a glock, and important articles such as birth certificates, etc. Basically a grab and go kit if the house burns down or I have to evacuate.

  • @poorkiller10 Shit Hits The Fan

  • @poorkiller10

SHIT HITS THE FAN! or SHIT'S HITTING THE FAN!

not yelling at you.....just like to put those two phrase's n caps LOL :D

  • @j0hn556 stop at 2:39 look at the right corner

  • I don't see jumper cables. Those are good to have. also I like the idea of keeping a siphon tube in your car for emergencies.

  • All your stuff much have cost a fortune!

  • @chaifr4 I know and where are all these people going ????

  • @urkingod I wish I knew where they are going! ;)

  • I would change the slime thing for a couple of those flat tire foam sprays in your wifes car. Its much easier to handle.

  • get rid of the stubby hammer an get a full size ...........trust me theyre useless

  • @BradMr1975 There is no leverage, you're right, it wouldn't do a damn thing.

  • Put the Slime into all 4 tires now. why wait for trouble?

  • Also flares don't work well in super wet snowy conditions.

  • You should replace your road flares with LED type flares. There are stories of flares bursting in car trunks and causing other fire hazards.

  • Nice kits. I see spare spark plugs but no spark plug sockets or extensions.

I don't see any duct tape, which has a million uses such as taping up leaking hoses for example. Speaking of leaking hoses, get various hose clamps to reinforce duct tape patch. I don't see a first aid kit or way of making fire. I don't see any cutting tools like a knife or multitool. Otherwise, that is a better setup than 99% of motorists out there.

  • should get some fuse's for both the vehicles, especially your wife's...because of that slim air pump thing tends to blow the fuse for the cigarette lighter.

  • I worked on tires for over three years, and I hated the Tire Slime. I live in Arizona, so when any tires came in with that stuff the heat from the pavement made it really gross. The smell is horrible and I always had to wear a mask to keep myself from getting sick. After you get the tire off the rime, it is almost impossible to get any liquid out of the tire, no matter how you turn it or flip it, it doesn't come out.

  • Great kits, really comprahensive, thanks for sharing

  • Great stuff!

  • nice setup
