I always thought this was a Joe Cocker song. Stupid of me, really. I mean every great song is usually originally a Beatles song. Do not know how many would agree with me, but I believe that this version is better than the Joe Crocker verson. The upbeat additude is something that just works, and the Joe Crocker version is missing something that just makes this song: Ringo. Though often undervalued as a singer in the public eye, Ringo just has a voice that is filled with that happy, somewhat innocent, childish voice. Just a personal opinion

It is amazing that even after al those years Joe Cocker is still able to sing it live and let people walk away with the feeling that it was the best version they've ever heard.
