And there are paradoxical euphemisms (things that have their name changed because of offensive nature, eventually losing its identity) for things that aren't even what they are called. Like the word "toilet" isn't actually that thing you do your business on. "Toilet's" traditional definition is a cubicle that you change in. The actual bowl has no real name of its own.
If they do, its because of business interests. They are aware of the massive market English speaking culture presents. If they're out on the street or at their homes talking about it, they're probably speaking Japanese. I don't know where you're getting all of this information. I'm not saying Engilsh is THE MOST complicated language. I'm just saying of the Latin based languages I hear from multilingual people whom I know that its probably the most difficult.
