The best Daytona game ever! Sucks that it never came to homes. They might be able to make an arcade perfect version now, but if they did back then, they would've butchered it, like Manx TT, older Daytona, etc.

I love the Battle on the Edge theme song. I remember back in 2001, I saw this game, I sat on the machine, heard this song during the attract mode, and LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!

They replaced my DU2 in a Cilandak cinema with Initial D Arcade Stage 4. Nowadays, the only cabinet that involves arcade stock car racing there is Daytona USA 2's predecessor, Daytona USA 1.

Initial D 4 is okay, but I liked Initial D 3 better.

Initial D may have a very good drifting style, but nothing can beat Daytona USA's drifting mechanism. But the only Daytona USA 2:Power Edition I know is only available at the Pacific Place Jakarta.

Oh, the memories.. I remembered, that in my home town, pretty much every arcade center had both the twin cabinet version of Daytona USA2 and the double twin version of the original Daytona Game.

After school, I used go around those places looking for somebody that wanted to play a race against me. Nowdays, we only a converted "Emergency Called Ambulance" cabinet with Daytona USA2 in it. Not the best way to play the game, if you ask me.

They replaced my Daytona 2 game with Initial D and Fast and the Furious. The usual. At least you can still play the game.
