There is a federal sytem where employers can verify social security numbers to insure they do not hire illegals. This needs to be mandatory but big offenders (Tyson chicken, meat packing, contruction, hirers of migrant labor) are against this because they would loose their cheap labor source, Urge your lstate legislature to pass this - then you could impose heavy fines and penalties on employers who hire employees with illegal SS cards.

They cost taxpayers $890 billion a year in services, including prison. Some prisons have as much as 25% of their inmate population as illegals, costing taxpayers $40,000 a year. They include murderers, rapists, drug smugglers and dealers, violent criminals. 20 million illegal aliens is a burden we should not have to bear.
