  • harry carays heart was with the white sox!!!!! remember the disco demolition???? CLASSIC!!!!

  • back then, we'd buy general admission tickets on gameday and migrate all the way up to the Golden box seats and rarely get kicked out of our seats. Going to those games in the late 70's/early 80's made winning the 2005 WS so much sweeter!

  • I'll always be a die-hard Cubs fan, but I'd give anything to see a game at Old Comiskey. Oh well, at least we still have our old ballpark =)

  • lol White Sucks...

  • Going to miss Nancy next season

  • Nancy Faust was so cute back then!!

  • This was back before channel 44 was a Spanish station, and slightly before Sox games were broadcast on Channel 32 for the second time.

  • This is how I remember Harry Caray at the "original" Comiskey Park and listening to him call the game(s) for the White Sox on channel 44.

  • Unsung (?) heroin, Nancy Faust! Thanks, Nancy for all the great times and memories.

  • OKAY NANCY!!!

  • It was Nancy Faust who first inspired to sing Take Me Out to the Ball Game.

  • I bet any Cubs fan who sees this will shoot him or her self in the head.

  • it be cool if youtube wasnt running like shit and i could watch the whole video without it stopping 54 times

  • HEY! WHAT IF...

    HEY!

  • A lot of day games back in '80

  • they didn't have lights until 1988.

  • I'm talking about Comiskey Park. Harry was with the Sox through 1981.

  • Wow, I remember when the White Sox games were on Channel 44! I miss the old park too.

  • @Rick081677 They should've never gotten rid of the old Chomsky Park.

  • Harry was great on the Southside. I loved how he would put the Strohs away during a game. By the 5th inning it got interesting. DOes anyone else remember when he would dance between innings with the lights in the booth flashing on and off. I think Comiskey in the 70s was the only park where the upper deck seats were more valued than the lower deck seats. Harry ruled!

  • Yeah that score board use to scare the shit out of me when i was little too. Sox fan since 76. Go Sox!!

  • Nancy Faust was hot!

  • When he DOESN'T sound like he's had a few, it should shock you.

  • This makes me wish old COMISKEY was still with us... Sunday afternoon games and NANCY FAUST! Win or lose, games at old COMISKEY were always fun! "GO SOX!"

  • Did "the real jimmy piersall fan club" go to every game? damn

  • No. The White Sox had several season ticket plans at that time. The one we had was Weekends and Holidays. With Sunday doubleheaders, that was a lot of games!

  • @darrinstevens11 Thanks for the memories. Very much appreciated. I loved Commisky and Harry & Jimmy.

Did you ever meet Jimmy P.? I heard he was down to earth. Who was that girl with you in all the videos?

Hope all is going well for both and thanks for precious memories..

  • Most Sox fans are just that because they are your stereotypical "HATERS" and want to go against the grain. Sad how u let intelligent Cub fans enthusiasm make u become a Sox fan. Sad ...lol PWND

  • Harry was on the south side long before he joined the Cubs.

  • haha, cubs fans are so stupid. This started at comiskey not at wrigley ya dumb fucks.

  • Dude, he started out with the Cardinals. He was there for 25 years, longer than with any other team. Then he was with the Oakland A's for one year, before moving on to the White Sox and cubs. He wouldn't have even been remembered as a cubs broadcaster had it not been for his stroke causing a humorous deterioration in broadcasting skills, and cubs games being nationally broadcast on WGN.

  • Cubs fans probably think this is a fake video. Real baseball fans, those people are.

  • Rip Harry 1998. Love the bright red pants 3:40min into the clip.

  • Allllllllll right Nancy, LEMME HEAR YA...

  • This clip was used this morning on WGN radio. I beleive it was on Dean Richard's show. He mentioned a 1980 Harry Clip singing.

  • Ya folks, it started on the SOUTHSIDE...

  • dam i miss that old park

  • Nancy Faust is just so damn cute!!

  • this is the hardest thing i could ever listen to as a die hard cubs fan.

  • Funny how delusional Scrubs fans truly believe the tradition started at Wrigley. lmao!

    WAKE UP LOSERS!

  • Swept yall this weekend, seems like thats been the tradition lately. we've takin 9 outta 10. good luck next weekend =-)

  • Good luck in October chump. Don't tell me what you did tell me WHEN you did it. 100 years and counting. ha ha

Really though, hope they win one before you die.

  • did u read todays sun-times? after ozzie bashed the cubs for having a small park, he kissed our asses and said "this team is a real good team" he began praising us.. he'll be outta of a job soon.

i can careless if we win or not, as long as we keep making the sox lives miserable. now thats wats up. =-)

  • Piniella will be out of Chicago long before Ozzie ever is.

  • yeah because he will retire, not get fired like Ozzie someday after his mouth writes one check too big to cash

  • HAHAHA U must be a dumb fuck!!! Ozzie will never be half the manager piniella is!!! Ozzie is going on for 3 straight years without a playoff appearance. Next year it'll 4 and his days are counted....

  • How do you figure that? The Sox are in first place.

  • Cubs fans aren't noted for being the most knowledgeable or even for paying attention. They think they have some great tradition because their stadium is older than dirt, but it is really just an ancient mausoleum that smells like piss, that should have been condemned years ago. The truth is, they mean nothing to baseball, except for being a running joke to everyone but their delusional and sadomasochistic fans. If the Cubs were contracted tomorrow, it would be no great loss to baseball.

  • @TNAROHfan remember when Babe Ruth Called his shot at US Cellular Field? Didn't think so. Harry Pulliam killed himself because of a controversial call. Or how a drunken and deranged Harry Carry just said whatever he felt like? the Deranged part made it so dont give me he was drunk when we had him bit. Ohh and remember the first game at New Comiskey Park 16-0 to the Tigers? Wrigley is a great place its starting to change but its still Americana. Its an experience not just a baseball game.

  • @TeamshakeNbake Oh,whatever.Does that experence at Wrigley include Cubs fans nearly killing Steve Bartman in 2003?If Wrigley is Americiana, then it reflects America now of days,...in very bad shape!

Wrigley is overrated.I'm a White Sox fan,but even I think Fenway Park is better than Wrigley.Oh,and Fenway and the Cell hosted more Championships teams than Wrigley, too!

  • HELLO AGAIN EVERYBODY! LIVE FROM GRAND OLD COMISKEY PARK!!!

    And I'm a Cubs Fan!

  • I worked with Harry & Jimmy when they broadcasted the games on WMAQ Radio. I produced their games. This brings back many memories. I had a great summer in 1980

  • bullshit

  • as a cubs fan i must say this a hard to find gem classic

  • OH MY GOD THIS IS CLASSIC!!!!

  • He sounded better back then because he was younger. It was also before he had a stroke in 1987. Prior to the stroke, he sounded the same singing at Wrigley as he does in these clips.

  • Can anyone upload videos of Nancy playing "na na hey hey goodye"? The only video I have is World Series Game 2 when Qualls departed so that Wheeler could give up the slam to Paulie.

  • This is a gem.

  • You can never have too many tube tops. Whoa.

  • thank you for posting. awsome video. and yes harry did sound much better with the sox...and nancy faust is the greatest also. GO WHITE SOX!! CUBS SUCK!!

  • lots of fun here! would love to see more and thanks for posting!!

  • Wow. Spectacular finds, darrin! White Sox at Old Comiskey Park with Harry Caray and Nancy Faust - with honorable mentions to Jimmy Piersall and Bill Veeck - and WSNS TV 44 all lumped into one. Priceless video. Thank you for posting these rare and memorable clips. GO-GO WHITE SOX! 2005 CHAMPIONS!

  • If you're wondering why Harry sounded so much better for the Sox than later with the Cubs, it's because Sox organist Nancy Faust played "Take Me Out" in a lower key than is typical for the tune. And I believe she still does this!

  • He was so much better with the Sox. By the time he went to the Flubs, he was becoming senile (sort of like Hawk is becoming)

  • Not true. He was good on both but he was best with Jimmy Piersall.

  • DAMN MAPLE BATS!!!!!!

  • That's right folks,Harry rocked the southside!!
