DKC1 was tough at times but it wasn't TOO tough. DKC2 ws easily the toughest of the series and it too me by far the longest to get the 102% ending. I found DKC3 to be incredibly easy. Idk I thought it was the easiest game in the series. Either way all 3 games were a boat load of fun and they represent my childhood in the SNES! SNES and N64 were the glory days of Nintendo. Gamecube was good but not as good and the Wii sucks :)

I just the love the adventure-y feel of these games, and the graphics for DKC specifically just tie me in. It's the great little scenery in the background and the different movements of the characters and enviroments that fill me with the feeling that the DKC universe is real. The music sets the perfect atmosphere for everything, and it just feels so right. Like in the background you can see that the submarine is bobbing. I wish I could go on an adventure with the Kongs!

i left some Bonus coins behind and dont know in which levels, i already beat all the levels of the secret world except 1 and the boss. This game should have something outside levels to tell u which ones have the bonus coin or not.

@cangri1788 Actually, the flag in every level (pink if Dixie passed it, blue if the baby did it) indicates whether you've taken all bonus coins or not. If the flag is down, you haven't taken both of them. If the flag's up, you're through with that level. The yellow flag indicates that you've taken the DK coin as well.

one way to look at why DKC3 is so different is because each game is supposed to be set in a different region of the world. the first two were jungles and pirates and the last one was supposed to seem like north america hence all the lakes and bears. most of the enemies in DKC3 look wierd though. I miss the klaptraps

That "electrocute the barrel" trick is something a player is only gonna fall for once, once you die once from it you know it kills you and won't fall for it again.

They should have had a phase where the upper and lower set of electrodes alternate between firing zaps of electricity, so you have to jump of the upper electrodes to avoid the lower zap and duck on the ground to avoid the high zap. That could have been tricky, add in the conveyor disrupting your jumps and that would cause problems.

DKC3 seems a bit odd compared to the first 2...I've never played 3 so I watched some vids. on it...just seems so different compared to the first 2...I really liked 2, though it was tough =X

Everybody loved DKC at the time, but were bugging about the easyness of the bosses. So they made the levels and bosses in DKC2 nearly impossible to beat. That was TOO hard, so they turned it down for DKC3 again.

I love the DKC-series.

@MrSambaboy For some reason I found dkc2 the easiest of the bunch and only one I managed to max out, also did it twice also my favorite, dkc1 didnt seem rewarding enough for me to go and max it plus imo was harder than 2 and 3, In three I was missing a banana bird that i never found b4 i traded it for megaman x and 2 other crpy games(power ranger and batman)

DKC2 wasn't impossible, challenging yes, but the difficulty wasn't unbearable. DKC3 is arguably more difficult due to the length of the game, but again, it wasn't too hard. IMO I don't think they turned down the difficulty, if at all, then not much.

Man this guy was hard. I died so many times before I could beat that fucker. I'd go to funky and he'd be like "I'm not helping you until you give me 50 DK coins" and I just wanted to kick the shit out of him. Then I finally beat this guy, and went back to funky and got the gyrocopter. From what i had heard of the copter it sounded more useful than it was, but it's an awesome game nonetheless.

This isn't an ending. It's a boss battle that you can do well before getting to the last world, though you can skip it.
