Or the city could own the team, like in Green Bay. The NFL does not want a team in Canada, they just want to expand the market of the Bills. Sorry, but Mexico will have an NFL team before Canada does.

And yeah, our hockey teams were stolen by Bettman but look how that has turned out. All of them are now on corporate welfare and all Canadian teams pay into revenue sharing generating 40% of the earnings.

Last time I looked, the NFL has played more regular season games in Mexico than in Canada. And the last one, San Francisco vs. Arizona, drew the largest crowd in NFL history. Mexico can support a team easily.

Last Time I looked, there were 5 games lined up to be played in Canada and the NFL isn't going back to Mexico.

Sure, they had a large crowd but what were the ticket prices? My guess is not that expensive. And I don't think they were selling many luxury boxes and club seats there either. Mexico is too poor to sustain an NFL team, not enough people can afford what it will cost.

Football not Soccer is viewed by mostly American and Canadian audiences in N.America. Although the NFL is trying to expand the sport globally. Unfortunately FB will not peak up to the popular level as Soccer, Volleyball, Basketball, Hockey, etc...
