  • YUP, AN EDGEPRO KNOCK OFF

  • @auradud3

Well not really. This addresses a slightly different user's needs for extreme precision, but for most user's needs the EP will more than meet their needs quite nicely. . Please read my other responses for clarification. The EPs - both of them - are excellent products. You should consider getting one! or more! I highly recommend the EP products!

  • @kenneths123 i have the edge pro, thanks

  • Пилять что за чушь((((((((

  • Has this product gone into full production as of yet? If so where can I purchase one? Your product though similar to other products on the market offers a higher degree of precision and the use of non-proprietary stones which is highly attractive me.

  • I sell them directly, so please contact me directly via a message.

  • Looks like a big edge pro.

From all that sharpening though, it was still tearing through that paper.

  • Yes, this first video is using the coarsest stones to set an initial bevel. Watch the subsequent videos as I go through the grits and you will see the edge evolve to something much sharper.

  • Great prototype. It looks very similar to the EdgePro.

  • Thanks for the response. It incorporates similar features as a subset of it's features, but allows a full range of standard sized stones to be used with it, along with pastes and films. It can be used as a standard stone holder for traditional sharpening and can hold the stone facing up at an angle so that you freehand sharpen with the blade held horizontally and the stone angled.

You can measure the angles with accuracies as high as a tenth of a degree!

Contact me if you want to try one!

  • It also comfortably handles a wider range of blades from small knives to cleavers to machetes with a stable platform.

The large size is mostly determiined by the ability to handle full sized stones which allow more cutting action per stroke. The stroke length must be at least twice the length of the stone.
