  • i had visited the global pagoda thrice, there is a very peaceful environment inside the pagoda which cannot be described.the corporeal relics of the Buddha have been enshrined in the second dome of the Global Vipassana Pagoda in 2006.These relics were donated by the Government of Sri Lanka and the Mahabodhi Society of India, Bodh Gaya.i m very thankful to all those who kept the dhamma alive, and thnx for uplaoding the video..

  • May all being be free of suffering, and abide evenly in ever deepening states of happiness.

  • please dont argue it does not matter if it was india or nepal, just live according to it, and give thanks to the chain of teachers who keept his message

  • Though one may live a hundred years with no true insight and self

control, yet better, indeed is a life of one day for a man who meditates

    in wisdom.

Because the roots of ignorance are so intimately entwined with the

fabric of the psyche, the unawakened mind is capable of deceiving itself

    with breathtaking ingenuity.

  • Considering that, in the time of the Buddha there were no such divisions of countries and that, Lumbini was considered to be part of India then, perhaps it would be better to just enjoy this wonderful Dhamma given us and refrain from the creation of division.

  • Sadhu! Sadhu! Sadhu!

  • Nice. Am also an old student and have been for 1 day meditation courses at the global pagoda site. I wonder if these masons and poor people who work at the global pagoda site got any good benifits. Because Guruji keep talking about bussiness men should distribute wealth to society. I hope these masons got good wages for the hard toiling work that they put in and they get some recognition after this structure is completed building! Metta

  • Congratulations to Myanmar.

  • rock on! this is awesome

  • When it is done, it will be the best place to visit and see the world's best engineering constuction. Also this would be a great place to study pure Buddhism.

  • Wonderful! It would be of great service if Buddhism returned to India.

  • Why do you want Indians to convert? :o

First Muslims wanted Indians to convert to Islam, then Christians wanted to convert Indians to Christianity and now Buddhists want them to convert to Buddhism.

Why is everyone after India so much. Why aren't you interested in following your own religion rather than wanting people to convert to your religion. :o

  • I didn't say "convert" I said "return".

  • What is the difference?

  • I don't understand your question?

  • Between "convert" and "return"?

  • Your question is unclear.

  • What is the difference between wishing "people to convert to Buddhism" and "Buddhism returning to India"?

  • Hmmm... can you dumb that down a bit?

  • Can't you try the opposite?

  • I don't understand what you're saying.

  • I don't understand what you're asking.

  • huh?

  • ahan.

  • (clears throat)

  • <grins>

  • There isn't any! I'm Buddhist and I'm not going to deny it. There is no difference between convert and return here!

  • So? Do you want India to convert to Buddhism?

  • I don't. This is a bad entire with a silly premise. This is corrupt Buddhism, wanting Buddhism to 'return' somewhere is a polite way of saying 'CONVERT CONVERT CONVERT'.

  • Hi,Dhamma friend..good question.. this Buddhism is already founded 2500 years more in Northern part of INDIA and NEPAL by enlighten one call Siddatha Prince. after he passed away, his Noble talk are spread to out of country 'cause of People still believe there own Religious ..Thank you ( I think the page will not full enough to explain, this video will tell you the story, pls watch again . see you MAY ALL BEING WELL & HAPPINESS
