"A kitchen designed by the Marquis de Sade", that's hilarious...i think it's missing other instruments of torture, but the oven looks painful enough, i guess XD
waw! Latin mediterranean foods are very very similar, in Portugal they also eat the same dish based with codfish, it's called "bacalhau com todos", and you can also find iin Portuguese restaurants in Rio, where I live.
They tried to make his book Kitchen COnfidential into a tv series. It was actually pretty good but it was on FOX so you know...they cancelled it. They really should do something inspired by Anthony Bourdain again. He did publish a new book, which is hilarious and deserves every literary award including the children's novel ones.
Who needs large scale farming? Look at the people. They are happy and they smile. Banks, iPhones, Ferraris or Hollywood, Economics and TV. This is all rubish.
@pejazrh2 More to the point, who needs poor people? The rich people on this TV show with the mansion in Provence and the locally-grown organic produce are happy and smile. So of course everyone should be like that.
Not everyone can afford it, of course, but who cares about them?
I love anthony bourdain. He was a bad ass synical chef in the beginning and now he is stil that bad ass synical chef but he is older wiser and has been humbled by the places he has seen, the people that he has met and become friends, and the fact that he is now married and has a beautiful daughter. There will never be a man like Anthony Bourdain. Someone who can hang with Uncle Ted, show us the real Haiti, and relax in Provence or Spain.
Good episode. He makes aioli sound very mysterious. You can make simplified versions at home that are still pretty good at home - better than having nothing at all just because you haven't lived in the south of France all your life.
