Iv always wanted to try but like you i play in short stints due toi working constantly! also it seems some people take it far too seriously online, i just want to blast around, have a little fun and try some formation flying without using fsrecorder :)

Download FSRecorder (free). I fly each plane one at a time then play back the last one(s) so I know where they are. I use FRAPS and Adobe Premiere Pro CS3
