I watched this when i was little with my sister :D It never really scared me i just thought it was weird xD And i remember how my sister and I would always point out how we liked the noise of when they walked :DD
I remember i would watch this movie with the shorts on it.. and i never really understood their meanings.. i just rediscovered the movie and I now realize that this particular short is the creppiest one. Im probably not sleeping tonite.. hahaha
I just decided to go looking for this recently, I remember it from my childhood. In combination with "Adam" it gave my worst and only memorable nightmare. So many people commenting are saying the same things! Go figure. The spirals stuck with me too.
I remember watching this when I was 7. I borrowed the Creature Comforts video from the library. But when I started repeating the lines from the cartoon, my parents had to keep me from watching it because they were afraid I would get in trouble for saying it at school.
when i was 4 i remembered my parents bought me this and this short was my favorite....but it scared me a lot! now i was afraid of contracts, washing machines, mirrors, handbags, and clocks! XD
YES! I've been looking for this for the longest time. It was at the end of an old VHS of Wallace and Gromit I used to watch a lot. I am so glad I found it <33333333
I often randomly quote this saying "My auntie is a zombie..from hellll". Following this, there is always an awkward moment of disappointment when i realize that no one knows what im talking about lol. I'm proud to have been a bit more cultured than my friends were growing up.
For some reason, the graphical style of this short reminds of "The Nightmare Before Christmas" meets "South Park", "The Simpsons", and "Grim Fandango."
lol we would watch this in our math class 6th 7th and 8th grade along with creature comforts on the last day of school we watched not without my handbag today
You know Boris Kossmehl made this as part of the Channel 4/Museum of the Moving Image "Animator in Residence" scheme? Well, one day in 1992 I paid a visit to the Museum, and I had the pleasure of seeing Mr. Kossmehl working on the film - in a three metre square box right in the middle of the animation section! (He'd got to about 5.43...) I even managed to tell him how cool the set-up looked, and he thanked me - what a sweetheart! :D
I love this film, well Creature Comforts that is! I remember whenever I went to my aunt and uncle's house when I was little, I would watch this over and over and over.
i saw this when i was really little!!! and i loved it lmao!!!! its hysterical! thanks for posting this---ive been looking for this for a long long time! =D
back in KOrea when I was three, my parents bought this for us to see, it wasnt that creepy but, I got this weird feeling that I dont no what its called
i watched this with my friend last month and i was seriously SCARED!!! this is not a kids movie! my mom bought it for our family when we were little and i was so afraid.
I remember getting this from the KID'S section in the public library when I was maybe four... It seriously gave me nightmares, along with that weird Adam thing.
I remember vaguely watching this when I was really little and I remember having nightmares from it. Been trying to find it forever but I couldn't remember the title - thanks for uploading!
I just love the visual styles of this film, when I watched it when I was younger I had no idea what was happening but the strange angles and perspective kept me entertained :P
The line "My Aunt is a Zombie, from Hell!" is one of the best lines evah!
Though also the quick camera pans to the grinning devil and his piece of chalk are always good. Though I also love his bit as the evil purse-he was scarier there than as a grinning devil.
omg i remember watching this when i was little it used to scare me like crazy! its still as weired as i remember. i love it! it was nice to watch it again! :D thanks.
aaah, I remember watching this when I was a kid! I just remembered it and was going a bit crazy typing in "demon purse" and "handbag eats house" into Google.
this gave me fucking nightmares. Why am i watching this again before I go to bed
