BTW, does anyone know of any forums where *intelligent* discussion on the use of this thing can be found? I have questions about using the control-use registers to activate a memory value write, but a couple days of searching online has turned up nothing.

..lol i made my own codes without this. Just use emuhaste/cheat engine and a rom and dump it and find adresses, hex values etc. Pretty easy. You should own the rom though because theres laws against that..-_-

If you just want to get and use codes, you want an Action Replay (AR). If, after already owning an Action Replay, you want to *make* your own codes for use with the AR, then you want a Trainer Toolkit. What it does is basically allow you to examine and change the contents of the DS memory while running a game, so you can figure out where (for example) the number of lives is stored, and write instructions for the AR to constantly reset that value to 99, giving infinite lives. Hope that helps!

Does anybody know if the installation CD is a full-sized compact disc? I know that the regular action replay's installation disc is a small one (similar to a gamecube game), and my computer unfortunately does not accept discs of that size. From what I understand, the codes can be used while attached to a computer, and the AR is only necessary to use the codes "on the go"?

Looks like it's going to be working just as I thought it would. You will play the game and watch values on the computer and then you edit or change them and do other stuff to get your code. You add the code to the AR and check if you made the cheat successfully.
