I admire that Hal also knew (like a drum beat) what to leave out of fame to make the ‘song’ work. Over 350 top ten hits and he remains a humble, level headed regular guy that can walk down the street and enjoy life and music without being mobbed. In that way he truly made the relationship with success in his life a hit too.
