I would take you nice setup of copper tips and drill them out and thread them.
I would then do some research to see if maybe a fuel injector tip would fit from a car or diesel. You can also check propane tips, Natural gas etc. Atleast with the treads you can experiment with your system. You don't have to cut your welds off just put in some new tips. Oh, crap I just thought. I used to rebuild Holly carbs and they have all those jets sizes. I bet you could go to town with that. Cool. HHO rocks
You can use NaOH otherwise known as LYE or Sodium Hydroxide. It is pretty nasty stuff but no worse than KOH and is probably going to be easier to obtain locally. I have been using around 3 tablespoons of NaOH in my 21 plate dry cell and it runs great.
yeah i have 19 tips that cann run at minimum of 2.3 lpm and running about 3.2 lpm normal..my hole size in my tips are approximate .010..with that size you can do a max of about 5 lpm without creating to much back pressure
You should be able to get a minimum of about 150 ml a min...If all my calcs are right then this will be the minimum it will hold a flame and the max of about 388 ml per min without creating back pressure .....
I counted 18 tips on your setup , so your minimum gas will be around 2.7 lpm and your max without having any major back pressure should be around 6.9 LPM
Thanks for the comment and the calcs, but the copper I solder on to the tube for my tips was so hard I couldn't drill through them. LOL back to the drawing board.
You can get a pack of .025 mig tips at lowes for about 8 bucks for a 10 pack and take a hammer and tap on the top till you get the desired hole size , Thats what I done ..
Check out jdcmusicmans newest vides, hes using a 19 tip burner, at 3.2LPM. If I remember correctly hes using .010 tips that have been crimped a bit. Looks like your on the right track. I think you may have some trouble with overheating if you run that cell at 12volts though. You want 1.5 to 2.4 volts per plate, so with two neutral plates Id think 9.6 volts would be about right. Ive seen many folks run 4 to 5 neutral plates at 12 volts. I am running a 5 neutral plate cell at roughly 14 volts.
Mate sounds like you need to go to bed earlier.....your either very tired or very bored!

Thanks besides it being almost impossible for me to find a .010 drill bit, I'm thinking about just going with a #80

My info is correct but my math was a bit off, 9.6 volts is still too high, lower this to 7.2.
