Fox can make an ok finish seem great and ESPN/ABC makes an awesome finish seem like there was 5 seconds between 1st and 2nd. Look at the 2007 July Daytona finish. If Fox had done it they would have been going crazy, but if you hadn't been looking at the TV you wouldn't know it was the last lap.

I'm amazing how poor commentating can turn a great finish into a boring one. I'm not exactly saying the finish was boring, but it was lacking the atmosphere that Fox or the old NBC with AB and BP brought.

The announcers are so unenthusiastic, I now realize how much I enjoyed DW, BP, Bestwick, and Joy's commentating, this was an awesome finish and deserved a much better call, as did the spectacular flip earlier in the race.
