okay belting is NOT SINGING. it's just a display of vocal range and power. singing is more on interpretation and emotion and charice has those plus the range. although i agree that kris may have a higher/wider range than charice but that DOESN'T make her a better singer.
and FYI charice CAN whistle but choose not to because david foster told her so.
BTW whitney houston and celine dion don't do whistles as well but they are really amazing singers and in my opinion better than mariah carey.

ok Charice is International Singer and Kris is Local Singer. that is the difference of there career standard.
In vocal range; Charice can belt but Kris can belt also and can do a whistle,but Charice can't do a whistle...see ...heheh

okay belting is NOT SINGING. it's just a display of vocal range and power. singing is more on interpretation and emotion and charice has those plus the range. although i agree that kris may have a higher/wider range than charice but that DOESN'T make her a better singer.
and FYI charice CAN whistle but choose not to because david foster told her so.
BTW whitney houston and celine dion don't do whistles as well but they are really amazing singers and in my opinion better than mariah carey.

okay let's put it this way, para mas ma intindihan mo. look at whitney houston and celine dion??? narinig mo na ba silang mag whistle??? and just because hindi mo pa sila narinig mag whistle so ibig sabihin ba yun na hindi sila marunong mag whistle??? nope i don't think so. IMO every great singer has ability to perform in either way they want. maybe some just prefer to sing the melody of the song and not put melismas on them (celine and whitney) but singers like mariah prefer other techniques.
