i honestly do not like all the stoners saying "ohh this is such a great song to get high to". i think that gives this band a bad name. heres a way to get high: go out to the desert. go on top of a hill. turn this song on and just..... look. look at all the beauty the desert is. just pure vastness of ground and sky. and if you dont live near the desert, turn this video on, click the "expand screen" potion and just watch.

My dreams... to drive some nice vehicle across one of the North America's desert with Kyuss, The Doors and The Animals in audio player, few Marlboro in a pocket and two bottles of original Coca-Cola. Maybe stupid, maybe made by comercials and films, but strongly true. Then I can go back to my country and live my life like I did before. But this, exactly this is the thing I have to do in my life to feel satisfied in the wild part of my heart. God bless the wilderness !

Back in the early 90's I was stationed out in Cali, and seeing the homemade vid, it brings back nostalgia of riding through the desert roads and taking in the scenery that is desert country cranking my BFTRS disc. Many people never really understands the concept of size and vastness of distance traveled coupled with breathtaking scenery until you've BEEN THERE(of course with radio blasting LOUD).

Great job with the mix of video and still shots to make this, you got my thumbs up rating. Salute

I've liked Kyuss for ages, but i never really warmed to any of the singers voices..

I reckon they would have sounded better if they'd become an instrumental band..Or got a really good singer which matched the rest of the bands great playing..

i desperately want to visit a desert. i have wanted to before i listened to kyuss.

it has always just seemed like a peculiar place. a place where there has been tons of experiences of pain and serenity. it just seems like a place of every emotion pressed into its scape.

its a pleasant view but very unforgiving.
