well, singapore no doubt have the capital to buy a carrier. However, 1 think we ask ourselves is whether we have a enough manpower to drive it even if there's a need for a carrier. There's a story in US that there's 2 such brothers who are both on board a aircraft carrier for a tour and they've never even meet each other for the whole 5 years! Do we have that much manpower?

I really think this is one of the best ads that ever came out of S'pore ! Gets the message across in a humorous way to capture the attention way more than those other serious ads!

Aww.. I see lots of comments here shows Singaporeans do not appreciate the creativity and funny side of this ad..

Thats why Singapore always produce "squarish" boring "lifestyle" ads that only features blue skys and "clean like bo-lay (glass)" ads for squarish viewers..

One of the most pathetic ads I've seen. Being funny and/or cute is ok but this borders on the ridiculous. There is nothing subtle about the ad at all. Why does the RSN always have such crass ads? The other one was with the silly rubber duck. What next one wonders? The little mermaid being rescued by the RSN?

To each his own I guess, while this advert might be a tad 'in your face' my friends (and I as well) usually think the Navy ads are the best.

Except for two. One where the ships transform into a robot and the one where the office buildings start battling or something. Water cooler bottles become missiles. That was yucks to me.
