What an epic game. I have it since... 2000? About ten years I think. But for about half that time my N64 stayed (actually stays) at my mountain house. So I play it once a month. Result? I haven't beat the witch yet. I however got all the puzzles/notes/honeycomb thru the game and also got doubled eggs/red feathers/gold feathers. So sooner or later I'm gonna watch this! I know where the dark blue one in Tooie is. At spiral mountain, go to the top of the mountain and fly towards the small waterfall with two ledges. Then enter inside the waterfall. Then go to the other end and you should find a BK cart at the other side of a wire fence or whatever. Flap Flip (Backflip) onto a ledge (Requires ledge grab or Whatever) and move to the waterfall. Climb up the ledge and take the tunnel to the N64 cart. Smash it open to reveal the dark blue Stop 'N' Swap egg.

They were going o be used for something called Stop N Swop but Rare couldn't do it but he key and eggs are in there. Purple gets you a Jinjo in multiplayer, Blue gets you the Homing Eggs cheat, and the Ice Key gets you a Mega Glowbo so you can turn Kazooie into Dragon Kazooie.

Oh, they could do the Stop N Swop thing, if I recall, but it was too dangerous. "Stop N Swop" refers to "hot swap", the act of switching a cartridge for another while the system is still on, with the temporary memory from the first game still in the system.

This is dangerous because it could damage your system/games, so they had to discard it to avoid lawsuits.

They could've avoided all that, though. If only they used discs instead of those stupid carts...

Wait, the idea was to pull out the Banjo-Kazooie cartridge out while it was still on then put in the Banjo-Tooie cartridge? No wonder the idea was abandoned; something like that works perfectly find for disks but not cartridges. Still don't understand why Nintendo didn't jump into the disk generation until the GameCube. They would likely still have the main FF games.

Well, Nintendo thought that the world wasn't ready for disk-based games, as they could be damaged too easily, and concluded that carts were much better for storing the data in a game.

And, apparently the reason the hot swap thing was abandoned was because nintendo updated the '64. Before the update, the hot swap would've worked fine, but not with the update. Thus, they had to abandon the idea.

wow nothing like a cheap plug for the next game...Banjo Tooie is not as good as the first one though. I wouldn't bother playing it, I have it for N64 and it's pretty average. It's basically like the first game, but none of the originality or flair. It's like they used up all the good ideas in the first one, and the second feels like leftover levels and designs.
