@agula131 It called "iron wool", it's crumpled thin pieces, thin wires of iron, so they look like sponge. Its original purpose was for cleaning hardly cleanable surfaces, mostly for removing old paint :))
@Lukaash i think it's not iron wool, 'cause we (pironix) have used it sometimes :) and it looked difefrently :) it was silver, but here it's like gold dust and it takes much longer time than iron wool :) somebody told me it could be (wood-)charcoal :) i have to try it :)
@agula131 it depends on how rough iron wool you have, more rough wool equals less bigger sparks and vice versa... i think this is iron wool, charcoal wouldn't spread those little sparks, definitely not the same amount at any time... plus it wouldn't do this effect on impact with ground...
