Hey, I just got a Burny 335 copy...inside there is a sticker that says Fernandes RSA 55 and Tokio Japan..can you see if your has a similar one...I'm trying to find out where mine was made..and don't trust the sticker and it doesn't say it was made there, just that it garauntees the quality...would appreciate it...thanks...
@prboyd thanks for replying.....so do you know where yours was made....china, korea or japan....just wondering if this sticker is in all of them regardless of where they are made......
@stevoe1000 Good question! No idea to be honest. Just just know they are still detail replicas of the 335 down to a lot of things. I A/B'd against a £3000+ Gibson Custom shop 335 and yeah, although the Gibson was better, it really was marginal for the kind of volumes I play at.
@prboyd Well I traded for this Burny...traded a 600 Euro guitar for this one which the guy said was made in Japan...so I thought I was getting an even deal...sent specs, numbers and description to a pro Burny company in the US and in face this is made in China...now I feel ripped off and the guy is trying to tell me that I am trying to benefit from this trade...I'm not sure what to do, he claims ignorance as the sticker inside says Tokio Japan, .. which they all do....
@STIKS1969 Hi. Corel Videostudio Pro x3 at the mo. Have used the Corel software for a few years and it does everything I need so far. Loved your sounds! Phil
It's been a while since I"ve roamed around the Tube, Very pleasent sounds here dude! Love this man. It sends me away somewhere else. Almost mystic if you will.
Put a little soulful vocals over top of that and you've got yourself a hit song, man. Parts of your lead have a bit of a Floyd feel. Awesome how the stereo spread bounces around. Lot's of textures. Really nice!
@marycigarettes Cheers Mary. Cool wee amps and just a shure 57 and a £50 EKG thing. Off to Dublin 2mor with the Mrs. Any hidden gems or music pubs I need to know about?
@prboyd sniff around templebar and you'll stumble on something...and round the corner is the olympia theatre which often has some great things on.............that EKG thing looked interesting
@dmio2 Hey Dan. THANK YOU! The sound is what drives me mate so that is appreciated. No clever mixing/mastering here. Just the actual sound coming from my amps mic'd and recorded straight to the multitrack. I am using a delay pedal that is dialed in to throw the sound L and R between the amps in time with drums. Sounded just like this in the room. Rock on fella. Phil
@GuitarSaladBar Thanks Frank. Appreciate the sub too fella. Quite a simple effects chain with Compression, Flange and Stereo delay for the Rhythm part, Proco Rat Distortion and Phase Shifter for the lead. Was trying to get a synth type sound. Rock on! Phil

@marycigarettes Cheers Mary. Know Dublin reasonably well and shall stagger across something! After further inspection of that mic, it is an AKG - D22.
My experience of it is that it has really good high end prescence for the cash, but not a massive bottom end.
The shure sorts that on the other amp.
prboyd 9 months ago
@prboyd i wondered if you meant AKG...i once had an AKG 414 which was nice.
marycigarettes 9 months ago
@marycigarettes Turned out to be the Porterhouse Mary. Good music and Oyster Stout. Hic...

@lukessummerguitar Cheers Lee. Am right into recording live sound at the mo and geting some weird and whacky sounds out of my board.
Some of the lead playing in the verses here is more David Brent than Gilmour!,
