It seems I've developed asthma, at 41, I've started having these symptoms. I actually first had a hint of this way back in 1994 in NC, but in 1996 moved to AZ for 10 years and never had a problem at all, in 2006 moved to east TX and WHAM! it came back. It goes into remission for a good year or more, though, at which time I can do whatever, even workout for 2 hours straight, no medication-anything. Then it will later come back. I always sneeze a lot, time to see an allergist.
I'm asthmatic and its really tough to deal with. I've been to the ER once and it was the scariest day of my life. I truly feel for this woman and my heart goes out to her, having to live with such a stifling condition as asthma.
Chet needs to help Sarah. Sarah looks like a zombie with asthma. When she's on the floor in an unconscious way,it reminds me a bit of Princess Aurora when she got her index finger pricked on the pointy part of the spindle after Maleficent put a drowsy spell on her.
I must say i use my inhaler ALOT my asthma is way out of control. The doctors have tried everything i have ended in the I.C.U loads of times on life support. I am now on steroids for the rest of my life. I take neds 3 every 4 hours 3 inhalers and 4 asthma tablets. Its a pain but it needs to be done, and the worse thing for people with asthma is having PETS well BIRDS and DOGS not good for the chest

No, its different for everyone. I have asthma attacks mostly when I do any exercise, when the season changes spring to fall, when I inhale perfume, when I'm angry or upset, and I have a really hard time breathing in the summer.

goodness, my wheezing was like that x2 when I had my first asthma attack ever and the worse is that I was fully conscious of what was happening to me. It's some very freaky feeling.
hello, i have a history of asthma and i do not know if it's reoccuring again. When i had a lot of exercise, i feel chest pains and sometimes i get breathles, but i don't have the wheezing thing. one night i woke up coz i can't breath there's something that made it painful for me to breathe all i can do is cry. can somebody suggest me anything?
I Also have a history of Asthma. I suggest You Use An inhaler. Maybe You Should See Your Doctor About it. I Use An inhaler when i feel Breathless and have a pain in my Chest.
lucky she has an inhaler.. i have asthma and my mom doesn't have enough money to pay 4 an inhaler every time i need 1 or run out of 1.. most of my inhalers go buy to fast because my asthma pretty bad.. but i am still going around smiling even tho my friends make fun of asthma when there's nu10 funny about it.. its very painful and Ive been having asthma since i was 2 but i had pneumonia at 3 months and i been living with asthma ever since and now i am 11
asthma is the acute spasm of the bronchioles in your lungs. there could be some inflamation with it too. asthma is VERY dangerous if not treated promptley. the reason her inhaler did not work is because most home inhalers are not used for acute attacks like this. drugs such as albuterol and xoponex work really well especially xoponex. and yes when she fainted that is just bad news...... she's suffocating.
An asthma attack can occur at any time, it's caused by the constriction of the bronchi in your lungs, things like dust, certain chemicals and some exercise can start an asthma attack. Sometimes the constriction is so severe that normal medication like the inhaler doesn't work as well as it should, when you can't breathe often your brain starts to shut down which is why she fainted.
asthma happens anytime anywhere. i dont know the cause but sumtimes the inhaler doesnt help for many reasones. i have asthma so yeah. just message me and ill tell u more
I'm going to tell you about my life. I faint like everyday and i have to have a really pretty girl follow me all day. One time a really cute lifeguard had to do cpr on me. I also fainted at school and a ambulance had to come and pick me up. I also fell off a treehouse and i almost died! When i'm typing right now the really pretty blonde ashley is wtching me right now.
Thanks for posting this. Asthma is terrible, but people can learn by seeing this to take it more seriously. I feel grateful for every full breath I take in.
i'm only at like 0:22 atm, but i will see then tell ya if its right or not (i have asthma and every coloured inhaler under the sun XD)
Ok, i have observed, and u r correct, she is taing it wrong BUT, the stuff in inhalers has a drug that can be harmful if overdosed, so if she doesnt need it (like wen they were re-inacting it) she wuldnt wanna take it
Its a genetic thing. I cant reli explain it but if like another family member has it like parents then the child may be likely to get it but also might not. I didnt get it when i was born i was diagnosed when i was 5 months old. Some people get it from birth and some others get it later on in life.
Asthma can be very scary at times. I have asthma and I'm currently going to school to become a RT. For the guy below that took the advair for a tight chest, it is not a fast acting inhaler! Many people think that advair will relieve symptoms of an oncoming attack. WRONG. You need to keep a rescue inhaler on you such as albuterol if you are on advair. Advair does work to keep asthma under control, but it will not work for a sudden attack. Breathe easy, guys:D
u poor things know how u all feel ve seritide purple light and dark blue ones yellow ones red ones green ones orange ones blue aand white ones nebs oxygen machine tablets steroids its so horrible i have attacks like the lady all the time longest ive ever been in 4 months in icu 2 weeks on a respitory ward 2
I have asthma BAAAAD asthma. I am 9 and I had an asthma attack last christmas I was in hospital for 4 weeks. I couldn't breathe at allllll. I had an asthma attack on saturday but it wasn't as bad but it was still horribble. People that don't have asthma are sooooooooo lucky. I have 14 brown inhalers and 22 blue ones.
I have it too, but I am 18. i have lotsa brown inhalers and lotsa blue ones, and some pills too. ya, your right. those people without asthma just dont understand how lucky they are that they dont have asthma.
wow i feel sorry for you i have asthma but i overgrew it i remember last christmas i had a tight chest i had to use a purple inhaler called advair for a few week until it was gone.
u poor thing i know how u feel i have seritide purple light and dark blue ones yellow ones red ones green ones orange ones blue aand white ones nebs oxygen machine tablets steroids its so horrible i have attacks like the lady all the time longest ive ever been in 4 months in icu 2 weeks on a respitory ward 2
Vote green party if you want to reduce asthma deaths. Better yet take public transit to work and take a train rather than fly. When you dispose of a refrigerator pay for a mechanic to recover the refrigerants.
Im not shure if I got asthma. But I had and fell to the ground with chestpain trubble breathing and my hands could not move. I was awake the whole time, Never happend to me befor, any1 got a clue if its asthma?
I've had a history of really bad asthma. I have learned that exercise helps, especially swimming....but every once in a while it does flare up, only during the fall/winter.
Yes, having an asthma attack is by all means extremely terrifying. Imagine everything ending at a split of a second. Yeah, it's a nightmare really.
i was playing football and forgot to take my inhaler and my coach mad us run 12 laps and i told him i cant breathe he made me run still and i started to not breathe when i could take a breath but i would start to choke i almost had a asthma attack
I have asthma from last seven years..and this video actually is the truth which we asthma guys face everyday...it can happen anywhere and at anytime,,,i cant even imagine a day without an inhaler in my purse
you ok man??? 2 days ago....sound off if youre ok...if in doubt keep the phone with you, call for help if youre alone just to be safe........scary stuff
i have had about 20 or more attacks exactly like that lady i have attacks one or more nearly everyday and 16 i nhalers plus 2 nebulazers its reli scary i no how she feels
all u people r saying its scary to have an asthma attak and its true but imagine someone like me that has had like at least more than a hunderd i SWEAR so when i like dont breath at all the doctors dont care becuase they know im asthmatic =] ps when i was a 2 month year old on december 25 i had to go to the hospitole in an AMBULANCE on X-MAS THAT FRICKEN SUCKED
I have asthma since over 30 years. 20 years I took Berotec200, since last year I take Maxair plus for bad attacks I have the Epipen. Maxair is for me the best inhaler, and the Epipen is my new Lifesaver.
i had 4 asthma attacks in total and my first and second almost killed me
My first one was when i was 3 years old and i had a asthma attack and i couldnt breath and i stayed in the hostpital for 1 week then when we were aloud to go home a crazy drunk woman crashed us hard.
I can say this in all truth since taking Jesus as savios I have not had a sever attack for years. But I do have allergies and they can play on my asthma. But I believe that I am healed from asthma. I have been looking into getting a yoga dvd but I am a beginner and I can't find beginner dvd that are simple to follow. Also I don't want the easter religion stuff just give the moves. I have pilates dvd and they help with the breathing also. I'll pray for those who have this bad disease.
i got rushed 2 a&e again a week ago with the same attack as this lady and 1 yesterday i have had 20 attacks like that lady and many other ones its scary
I have done the same thing and its pretty typical for us asthmatics to sometimes think we can gain control and then BOOM....IT ALL GOES DOWNHILL....not being able to breathe is the scariest thing ever!..and sometimes it just hits u so fast there isnt anything u can do but ..

hello, i have a history of asthma and i do not know if it's reoccuring again.

PickledPaige 2 years ago
lucky she has an inhaler.. i have asthma and my mom doesn't have enough money to pay 4 an inhaler every time i need 1 or run out of 1.. most of my inhalers go buy to fast because my asthma pretty bad.. but i am still going around smiling even tho my friends make fun of asthma when there's nu10 funny about it.. its very painful and Ive been having asthma since i was 2 but i had pneumonia at 3 months and i been living with asthma ever since and now i am 11

asthma is the acute spasm of the bronchioles in your lungs. there could be some inflamation with it too. asthma is VERY dangerous if not treated promptley. the reason her inhaler did not work is because most home inhalers are not used for acute attacks like this. drugs such as albuterol and xoponex work really well especially xoponex. and yes when she fainted that is just bad news...... she's suffocating.
crazyjak87 2 years ago
An asthma attack can occur at any time, it's caused by the constriction of the bronchi in your lungs, things like dust, certain chemicals and some exercise can start an asthma attack. Sometimes the constriction is so severe that normal medication like the inhaler doesn't work as well as it should, when you can't breathe often your brain starts to shut down which is why she fainted.

I have asthma, it sucks big time!
like angelbabe said, you can have an attack out of nowhere and even your rescue inhalers don't work.
It feels like a ton of bricks are on your chest pushing your airways closed.
You feel helpless and alone when the attack gets worse

i dont think she is taking the inhaler the right way
PlausiblePictures 3 years ago
i'm only at like 0:22 atm, but i will see then tell ya if its right or not (i have asthma and every coloured inhaler under the sun XD)
Ok, i have observed, and u r correct, she is taing it wrong BUT, the stuff in inhalers has a drug that can be harmful if overdosed, so if she doesnt need it (like wen they were re-inacting it) she wuldnt wanna take it

What causes people to get asma anyway, are they born with it?
KittyKarryAll 3 years ago
Its a genetic thing. I cant reli explain it but if like another family member has it like parents then the child may be likely to get it but also might not. I didnt get it when i was born i was diagnosed when i was 5 months old. Some people get it from birth and some others get it later on in life.

When a patient starts thanking me profusely for saving his or her life, I usually feel a bit embarrassed.
Some people become Paramedics to receive such praise, but it never crossed my mind when deciding to work in Emergency Medicine.
My sister had a life-threatening emergency when I was 13 and, when the ambulance arrived, a few EMTs helped her while a few others calmed our fears.
I wanted to give future patients and their families the same positive experience, so I became a Paramedic.

Vote green party if you want to reduce asthma deaths. Better yet take public transit to work and take a train rather than fly. When you dispose of a refrigerator pay for a mechanic to recover the refrigerants.
