I never said putting yourself into something isn't a good idea and you're right great arrangements take something from the performer/whatever.. the point i clearly made to Sungha was that the original piece by Hedges is the source material for Ms. King and it's your opinion to believe she's an amazing 'female' guitarist but it doesn't mean that she's done anything to Ritual Dance that was worth doing?! Hedges has great balance of technique, King is a pretentious child.. nothing more.

Yeah that's great and all... but the arrangement is such a small and brilliant arrangemnet that all the prentencious stuff 0.50 onwards just helps the listener phase out from the rhythm of the 'Ritual Dance.' Enjoyed watching you play tho, i just felt annoyed because Kaki King has rearranged something that is a quick progressive track and should be played in all it's glory. Ever heard the phrase "Short and Sweet," please don't lower yourself to the level of Kaki King and learn original Hedges!

Let the kid play what he wants. Like it or not Kaki King is an amazing female guitarist, and probably far better than anyone who has commented on this video. She has a kind of attitude and stuck-up style, yeah, but that shouldn't detract from her music. You were not *completely* wrong about him, but you pretended to judge him as a mature and grown-up artist. He's an extremely talented and technical player, a "child prodigy" let's say, but he still needs to be older to have that musical taste that adults have.
