While I agree that the 2-party system is bad, it doesn't exactly follow to say, "OMG THERE ARE SOME THINGS IN COMMON BETWEEN FASCISM AND COMMUNISM THEY MUST BE EXACTLY THE SAME," and it follows the same fallacy to say that it's the intrinsic property of both communism and fascism rather than a property of the authoritarian system that the example nations had.
2. Whether or not it's "OMG CONSPIRACY", his premise of "extreme left and extreme right" is absolutely wrong. One correction, Ford did not receive a bail out, they were in decent financial shape in 2008. GM and Chrysler were bailed out and today GM is owned by the US government all done at tax payers expense.

@affilinet Ron Paul argues that property rights themselves would protect the environment. If someone is polluting, be it an individual or corporation, then whoever owns the property being damaged has a right to sue and stop the pollution. This is paraphrased of course, but the idea is that if your neighbor dumps trash in your yard you have a right and a duty to stop them. How well this would work in reality/atmosphere is yet to be seen. Hopefully we'll find out this November!

Fascism holds up individualism and allows for individuals to act as they please. this is known as despotism. collectivism is an idea key to a republic or democracy. Is the Occupy Wall St movement a funded, artificial movement?
It seems quite plausible - they knew the global financial crisis would create a great of deal of anger in the public, so why not create a violent, irrelevant and mixed-messaged movement against a symptom rather than the actual disease (the fed)? It's easy for the media to make them seem 'immature' and 'uneducated' as they have no real demands. The movement will die out and the public won't join forces like that again in a long time

I would ask how can someones beliefs not as you say "Cloud his reasons", or in better terms be soley involved in your decision making process. No one can do really anything without performing those things without their personal beliefs being a major if not 100% of the reason why we say and do something. We may contradict it, but that just shows the level of dedication we have for it. So saying its clouding him only assures you disagree with his beliefs, not that they are getting in the way
