  • @Super911truth It's good you have such pride in your school. But quite frankly that's simply not possible. This coming from someone who does not believe in the word impossible. No does or can do it better than the Man himself. Was privileged enough to see him before he passed :-)

  • You have to be a sorry person to click this song, and then leave a "dislike" on your way out.

  • Isto e musica,

  • a large majority of cash`s songs were first sung by others but for the most part his versions became more popular than others because of the times and because he became very famous.

  • @maniacturtle just wonderin where u studied ur johnny cash history at? idluv it if u could list the songs that he sang and direct the place the versions actually came from? that is if u have the info to back up what u said: juzz wonderin.

  • 109 of these viewers must be the ghost riders targets.. or at least now they are...

  • @Monk3yKILLER13 Nope, they are only a buch of assholes hahaha, cheers.

  • This song was written in 1948 by Stan Jones. it has been recorded. Many times by such people as Vaughn Monroe, who had a monster hit , Bing Crosby, Peggy Lee, Marty Robbins. I like this version best.

  • yipee yi oh yipee yi aah

  • I play this on my MP3 when I ride my horse :3 It's just so fun lol

  • What a voice!

  • some say this is cowboy fokelore. it is also interpreted fom a vision in Isaiah 21.

but he says in the night sky. .in Pairs? he sings you had better change your ways or they will consume you. . when they are finnished with the Middle East?

Isaiah also refers to the revolting concorers as feasting before attacking by sea in the desert. Texas has a desert, Arizona has a desert, California has a sea and desert.

  • the is actually Ghost Riders in The Sky, but still, good video

  • the best.....

  • JOHNNY BLAZE RIDES AGAIN

  • YIPPI AYE YO, YIPPI AYE AYYYEEE, HOLTE ENDERS IN THE SKY!1

  • if you don't like johnny cash you don't like country.

  • @chickenrich86 I love Johnny Cash, but there's a big difference between good country and bad country. Bad country is practically songs about sex and beer, good country is about other things, and some good examples of good country artists are Johnny Rivers, Johnny Cash, the Eagles, etc.

  • @horrorshow20000 Don't classify The Eagles with Country! They are rock and roll! That's why I like them! (I despise most country, this is one of the very VERY few songs I like)

  • @tonym144 If anything they are folk rock, but that is a subcategory of country, along with hillbilly (Stones, CCR, etc). Now, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, that is country, and good country. Modern country sucks, I think we all can agree on that, and I do not like most country that much either, though some are o-k, but Johnny Cash, now that is a good singer.

  • I love this song, and all of it's many covers!

SHUT UP AND ENJOY THE MUSIC

  • I'm a metalcore junkie, but I LOVE THIS

  • @XxMetalMartyrxX haha, well ever heard of Children Of Bodom? They're one of my favorite bands (I'm a death metal junkie as of late, haha) and they've done an amazing cover of this song :)

  • @RISEoftheFALLE there's no good cover for this song it's just to amazing to fuck with i'm not critisizing them but there's nothing like johnny cash's baratone voice and tennisee accent

  • @RAWRimAvampireRWAR Well, you're right in that respect, but this song isn't a Johnny Cash original. It's also a cover, because it was first written in circa 1920, and since has been recorded by nearly a dozen artists. Correct me if I am wrong. And not to be a dick (seriously) but it's *Tennessee :)

  • @RISEoftheFALLE The original was recorded by Vaughn Monroe 05, May 1939

  • @cldrake328 o.O I read up just recently that it was written in '48. I was wrong in the first statement, and I believe Monroe was the second person to record it next to Burl Ives, who released the first recording two months before Monroe. And it was in '49. Idk... I guess it depends on the source :| But thanks for the insight :D

  • hey everybody, let's vote up luigi2277's comment, cause it is honestly pretty cool

  • AWESOME!

  • A legend !

  • Johnny Cash was one of the greats, he had his ups and downs in his personal life but his music was and still is pure country.

  • Comment removed

  • this has got to be one of my favorite all time songs. This new pop & twangy country bullshit they have out now days is trash compared to the Legend Johnny Cash.

  • we all know the ghost rider film was shit but the comics were great as was johnny cash and this song

  • LOVE Johnny Cash R.I.P. he was one of countrys greats!! But his music will live on!!

  • makes me think of the Engineer from Team Fortress 2

  • Looooooool great pic´s (lies)

  • The worst version I ever heard of this was done by a Korean band in an Enlisted Man's club. They tried hard, but it's hard to sing in another language unless your accent's really good - c.f. ABBA.

  • yippy iooohhhh,yippy iaaaaaaaaaahhhh

  • Mashaaaaaaaaall versus the machines

  • Please post the chords of the song

  • @Werever1994 A# Db A# Db A# G A# Db A# G A#

  • thank you!

  • Ghost Rider the movie, not Ghost Riders. That would mean more than one and one of those awful movies was enough!

  • pity the clip is from the movie. the song is about a rancher who was having cattle russtled at night as if the theives were ghosts. he caught them and shot them and was haunted by the shooting

  • beautiful song, excellent, I think of the best Mexican and heard the great master of guiterra Don Pedro Vargas.

  • Shit was so cash.

  • Funny as Ghost Rider has nothing relatable to this song except.. Ya know.. The title..

  • this song gives me goosebumps

  • blues brothers :p

  • The "dislikers" are mostly pre-teens who came here looking for video of the 'Ghost Rider' movie (which BTW I remember really liking the comic book - at age 8 or 10 anyways). This was a hugely original style of song, and showcases what so few people talk about: that Johnny Cash often never really fit into any particular category, so radio stations had a hard time playing much of his music. It wasn't exactly country, or rock, or folk, etc. A true artist.

  • Who likes this music? People who know what good music is. Thats who.

  • 100 people suck.

  • This song gives me chills.

  • Johnny Cash Rules! love him!

  • anyone that dislikes Cash should stick nails in their ears!!!!

  • Good character, great song, legendary singer, crappy movie.

  • @cirosduarte i liked.....no STILL LOVE! the movie it was epic and still is

  • This song sounds so authentic, can some music freak suggest other similar songs please, m from asia not much familiar with this singer

  • Fav johnny cash song :)

  • I admit that this version of the song is better than the rock version, but the movie is still cool.

  • i came here after hearing Chrome Divisions cover.

  • @KelevMiara Same. Such a good cover, in my opinion.

  • łza się w oku kręci :) klasyka

  • who the hell cares about the video just listen to the damn song

  • che mamada

  • grrreat song, in my opinion

  • Great Music, really shitty video.

  • Riding horses at 100MPH shooting shit and getting shit shot at you!

  • YEEEEEEEEEEEHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAI!.

  • @curryluke I must say you dont know music.

  • @curryluke un freakin belivable dude! gosh...

  • just makes you want to get a horse go to the american outback and shoot

  • 98 people didnt change thier ways

  • johny cash was the king he still is and allways will.

  • hmm wonder how flaming tires affect traction.. maby i'll go get some for the dirtbike. lol

  • nashville tele or a strat through a fender twin.

  • i like the tone of his voice

  • Beautiful, great, excellent. Great Johnny Cash. The electric guitar has a beautiful sound. What is a type of guitar? Thank you

  • I didnt know this was a Johnny Cash song!

  • @XxXLindseywayXxX well it wasn't exactly, cash sang it(and he sang it damn good) but he didn,y write it, though he didn't write a lot of songs that he imortalized, made famouse, or just sang really friggin, good,

  • I love johnny so much!

  • I've just come to know Johnny Cash. Amazing. If I think about I1ve lived for 16 years without knowing him I cry

  • are you from ilfracombe?

  • great song

  • Two of my fav bands covered this song.... Die Apokalyptischen Reiter and Dezperadoz, and all though i like their versions better, nothing can ever beat the original... especially a classic like this!

  • This song is my ringtone. When someone calls me, I hear: YIPEE-I-OOHHH.

  • i've heard it said this was voted THE greatest country and western song EVER written!

  • i made one music video to....whit this song....but for ghost rider movie

  • loved this song since I was like 9!!!!!

  • classic song, sung by a legend, with a montage from one of the worst movies ever made which has nothing to do with cowboys.....hmmmmm

  • @silowhore Actually, the movie is very relevant as the movie (and the comic) is based on the same old cowboy myth that this one is. Also, there are far worse movies. Trust me.

  • @silowhore It wasn't that bad of a movie. And they did have cowboys in it. Look up before you comment.

  • @invaiderzen lol i was gunna say that too! i can't remeber who played him but i remeber he was in a lot of old cow boy movies too

  • @silowhore

it wasent all that bad Justain beavers movie SUCKED with a Z ZUCKED

  • @silowhore Butbut. It has the words 'Ghost Rider' in it! How could it not be relevant!!!!1

  • @silowhore

Actually, did you watch the movie, the first Ghost Rider(Sam Elliot as Carter Slade) in the movie was a Texas Ranger in the old west. You should really pay attention more. But that is where the Cowboy part ends.

  • @PoliceExplorer1405 im illustrating the fact that the movie sucked fucking ass and doesn't really deserve to be associated with the song, if you want to be a pedantic nerd about it that's your prerogative

  • @silowhore thats the youth .he thought it was ghost rider

mr n.cage instead of the good old riding in the sands

and kicking back wif the stars

  • @silowhore and the best comic book series ever.

  • @d33dr0 agree that Cage destroyed any value in continuing the movie franchise, and he should be shot for making the movie.

  • @d33dr0 Cage didn't ruin the movie. He was probably the best actor they could have found for the role. It was the writers and producers who ruined it.

  • @d33dr0 what? cage did fine, granted i think they could have found an actor better suited for that spot and if you ask me that southeren/western accent has sadly carried over to most of his movies and or natural speech patterns, but he did ok for the role. he didn't ruin it, it just rushed to fast through the plot.

  • coulda done a montage from Blues brothers that woulda been better than this movie

  • @silowhore it has something to do with cowboys the other ghost rider in the movie was a cowboy

  • @silowhore well actualy, the old texas ranger in the movie was a cowboy, and this song was in that movie, and just cause you think its a crappy flict doesnt mean the rest of us do, actualy i think its better the most movies produced now days, course your probably a northerner, cant understand us south western folks, and our type of movies.

  • @silowhore

If you don't see why a song like this resonates with the idea of motorbike riders, then you probably don't know what you are talking about.

  • @theuglysoldier He isn't saying there is no connection with cyclists and the song. He is just saying how bad the Ghost Rider movie was. (I did see it, and it wasn't that great.)

  • @FrackleRackle i saw it...it was OK but i just think it was the worst movie nicolas cage has or ever will be in. otherwise he's a good actor. but it rushed through the plot way to fast, liked the opening though.
