"Will he ever get there? Will he ever make it? Will he hear the sound of the cockcrow at dawn." That's Bongos Ikwue in the 1980 soundtrack to the NTA drama series, "Cockcrow at Dawn". That's a nice paraphrase of Bongos Ikwue's lyrics, tune and all, from 2:22 to 2:44. This is an excellent song, full of the right, and not necessarily stock, emotions and sentiments. And the vocalling is very confident and mature. Let's hope the rest of the album is as fetching as this sample!

This is very moving!!. Probably one of the best vocals I have heard from an African Artist...no disrespect to anybody..just my opinion...I like the simplicity of the video using just images that really conveys the message....props!!!...

In the deepest tradition of reggae's social commentary, and then beyond to proactive aid efforts - Ade is not paying tribute to this music, he's taking it to the next level! Highly recommended.
