@Tiafain hey, I don't really "ride" it - and not very often either. I've seen other people ride properly on it, but I can't really - I just hit it for the jump. At first, it is very different to snow, but you get used to it. I can ride it well enough to line up for the jump, and that's about it ;)

@yeakindah :) When I uploaded this video, ages ago, I knew the trick was a barrel roll - I mentioned it in the description. I guess I thought barrel roll came under the broader heading of backflip... almost every comment is saying "that's a barrel roll, not a backflip" :)

@GavinHope in terms of snowflex ones there's Sheffield, Halifax and I think Chatham (Kent) has a snowflex slope, there's lots of other places with demdex around the country, and around London and Birmingham there's indoor real snow.

im heading over there in a few weeks. snowflex is basically like astroturf from my understanding and they spray it with water to make it slick.

It's good actually. I've never spent the time to try to ride on it - I just line up for the jump... but it feels pretty good, and landing on it is fairly soft... it's kinda "sprung"
