  • Foreign dangerous regimes ? is this how she justifies invasion of Afghanistan ? Magnificent someone slap her please

  • American politics learning the lesson ? I don't think so . Korea , Vietnam , Iraq and Afghanistan 4 wars without firm strategic goals ....

  • DRILL BABY DRILL, what could go wrong?

  • diarrhea of senseless words.

  • @bulbadox

    No kidding

  • Out of the millions of republicans this is the best they can come up with? See the pattern? Reagan = alzheimers. Quayle = dim wit. W = halfwit. Now we have jiggles! Par for the course.

  • everyone use your youtube comment voting powers, I want to see the best comments topping this video. Also, thumbs me up for the heck of it if you want.

  • And what's the policy when Alaska runs dry?

  • "Don't be angry, my lord, that Sarah cannot stand up in your presence; She's having her period." She's so deeply unclean...

  • Can you imagine the jobs that would be created if we started drilling oil again.might cure the nations(governments) ills immediatly.

  • @angelcitynut

No problem, prenty of jobs cleaning the Gulf Coast now.

  • At 4:36, did Obama kiss Biden's wife on the mouth?

  • Fucking Idiot.

  • no she did a great job.

  • This woman is lying through her teeth.

"we have trillions cubic feet of clean natural gas"

LMAO! tell the American people why the USA already exports over 800bn cubic ft of Natural gas to foreign nations.

  • Unflagged fungible oil molecules

    LOL!

That was so much fun I've got to do it again.

    Unflagged fungible oil molecules

    Bwahahahaaa!

  • "fungible... molecules" ................... :-)

  • Alaska does not produce 20% of the US's "energy supply".

Either Palin is a liar, or an idiot.

    I think it's both.

  • Also, the reason why it doesn't get done is because the oil companies don't want to do it! It's too expensive and not cost effective. The issue is a complete red herring!

  • This woman doesn't even know the details of the energy policy in her own state. She told Gibson that Alaska produces 20% of the nations energy. The actual number is 3.5 PERCENT. So she was either engaged in a gross exaggeration or simply doesn't know wtf she is talking about!

  • she needs shaging up the bum

  • Are polar bear and moose considered to be a fungible resource and can we track their molecules...?

  • She is absolutely correct, Obama and Biden are unrealistic in thinking we can turn our energy infrastructure around on a dime, we cannot, we need to drill, we need nuke, we need solar, wind and geothermal and we need to work on alternative fuels for cars and homeheating, but it has to be all of the above, or it wont' work.

  • I predict a future sex scandal between McCain and Palin lol

  • If Obama wins he should appoint her Secretary of the Interior.

  • Now we know why she named her kid PIPEr.

  • she's sooo much nicer and different in this interview...the one with charlie gibson sounds shady...like she was nervous or she was reciting lines or something

  • she actually knows something about energy. that's why she seems more relaxed and natural. she knows nothing about foreign policy so she was nervous and she keep repeating talking points.

her candidacy is an embarrassment to this country and the fact that people are buying her as even close to legitimate is even worse

  • i wouldn't vote for this bitch if she gave me 100 blow jobs.

  • so if the snap was 1 second long, obama biden plan is 5256000 times longer (ten years)

i love how they do that little nature montage while shes trying to say its a barren land.

  • Btw, the "green collar jobs" that Obama refers to is a misnomer. As an engineer in thin films manufacturing, I can tell you that fabs consist of white collar engineers and blue collar techs. No different from Ford in the 70's, no different from paper mills, no different from any other manufacturing site. Don't be misled by fancy words....

But I'm still not voting for Palin.

  • It's just a way of saying environmentally sustainable jobs...nothing fancy or misleading about that.

  • However, national security as an argument for energy policy is weak. The threats that Russia, Iran, and NK pose have very little to do with non-renewable energy. This is where Palin glaringly shows her ignorance in foreign policy. This woman would encourage war against Russia and Pakistan (see the Charlie Gibson interview). That would only weaken America because we would borrow more money from China for weapons, while they increase their wealth and power. Her foreign policy would be disastrous.

  • I'm split on this issue. To say that "green investment" brings "green collar jobs" is a lie. The field is so small that only researchers being funded by VCs in Silicon Valley can really advance "green technology". Biodiesel is not pragmatic because you would need huge plots of land to grow the corn needed for transformation. However, biodegradable polymers do show some promise, but their key synthesis derives from the run-off of biodiesel. In addition, oil drilling brings plenty of jobs.

  • ok yeah so if there is this so called "cost-free" for of energy , why hasnt the governement looked in to it? im sure they would be open to those ideas?

  • OPEC just demonstrated precicely why even an unlimited supply of oil will not fix our "price problem". These prices, now established are considered "what the market will bear" & per profit motives & the "struggle factor" that this load creates on those dependent on this technology absolutely guarantee that oil will only become more and more expensive. Oil is done. It's over kids. Better alternatives are everywhere... just not legal in the U.S.A. YET.

  • This is perhaps the most baised interview I have seen yet. She need to be put on O'Reilly so we can get the truth out of her.

  • Some of you need an education. You must be a product of government schools. The ney sayers are nothing more than a bunch of liberal whiners. I bet you were never picked first in kickball or were the first out in dodge ball. Shut up and get a life. We need to drill. Sarah Palin has it right. And she is NOT in the pocket of the oil companies. She resigned from the board in protest because of bad ethics on part of the oil company. So BACK OFF!!!!!!!!1

  • This is perhaps the most baised interview I have seen yet. She need to be put on O'Reilly so we can get the truth out of her.

  • we must drill so the oil lobbyists that own our government will be happy.

isnt this just the stupidest shit youve ever heard? drill drill drill? yea like the oil companies are really looking forward to lowering the gas prices for us. aint gonna happen theyre just gonna sit on it and slowly rape us for as much as they can get before they force us to switch to hydrogen or some other shitty fuel they can control and sell. what a shame this country is controlled completely by corporations.

  • great interview.....great insights....can't wait til she's our VP...very impressive woman what with all that she has taken in the name of a campaign....must have a lot of true grit....

    Hang in there Governor!

  • OIL is no longer necessary. HHO technology is VERY real & far far cheaper than gasoline, diesel, coal etc. because it can in FACT be produced for free on-demand and completely fuel our infrastructure. Protecting energy economies is NOT the answer. We should instead eliminate all energy based economics. Free electricity is REAL, unlimited CLEAN water fuel is a reality... we have only greedy seedy protectionists at work at this point keeping our wallets in their own pockets.

  • Common sense talk, from somebody who knows the subject, eh?

No wonder the left tried so hard to spread all those unsourced smears after her speach. They're scared, and that's how they react.

  • Watch out! She has ties to big oil! No wonder she is well versed on energy (so was Bush and Cheney...Energy policy behind closed doors). How did Bush say it? Fool me once.....

  • What is really spooking the left wing is not only seeing McCain as the next President, but they know in their hearts that Palin is the NEXT,Next President. Sorry Kids...

  • I am so impressed with Sarah Palin. This interview shows how knowlegeable she is on the subject of energy.

With $4 gas, I can't think of anything more important right now.

I had no idea Biden voted against the Trans Alaska Pipeline 30 years ago. I hope she brings that up in the debate.

  • shes governor of Alaska of course she knows about energy resources, obama doesn't want to jump into anything he just wants more research put into it so that we can switch to a renewable source as soon as possible. The Alaskan pipe line was 30 years ago when drilling in Alaska was a new subject and it was 30 years ago which is a really long time.

  • Stop Global Warming

  • Best VP ever !!

    Way more qualified then Obama!

  • @BEMESON001 Amen!

    Palin/Perry 2012!

  • McCain -Palin '08

a realistic national energy policy IS a vital national security priority.

  • This video is an eyeopener for many of us that have been scared by the leftist and the media-bias propaganda about how disastrous the impact of drilling in ANWR can be, I didn't know how small that area was. Size of LAX AIRPORT? 5.7 to 16 BILLIONS OF BARRELS? WHAT I WE WAITING THEN?

I also like the idea of not only supporting drilling but also focus on ALL THE POSSIBLE ALTERNATIVES IN ORDER TO BECOME ENERGY INDEPENDENT.

LET'S STOP IMPORTING OIL FROM THE MIDDLE EAST!!

  • This woman is incredibly dynamic.

McCain sewed up the election with his selection.

  • So what is her energy plan? Drill Alaska? Is that it? Not a big eye opener. Bad choice in VP.

  • That's all she knows. Alaska Alaska Alaska. I think she has great executive experience... for Alaska. If this was the race for the President of Alaska she would win hands down. But it's not. Tell me something about renewable energies, immigration, education.

  • That's just the thing. We cannot rely on renewable energy until we have advanced far enough in technology to make it affordable and feasible on a large scale.

Until then, we must have something else to rely on. And right now, that's oil and Natural Gas. Our nation depends on energy, and with the foreign market like it is, it has now become a National Security issue. We need to supply our own oil and Natural Gas.

  • I'll tell you about "renewable energies." They provide no more than 3% of our energy needs at a higher cost than natural gas, coal and oil. It will take 50 to 150 years for "renewable energies" to be developed to the point that they can replace the fuels we use now.

  • The only reason why it's been so slow to develop is because Big Oil lobbyists have been shutting down the development with the help of John McCain.

Don't you get it? That's why John McCain is all about Drill Drill Drill, because he is so stacked with Oil Lobbyists whispering in his ear.

Why didn't he support the compromise that would have allowed offshore drilling along with investments in Renewables? Because it took away Oil tax cuts. It's true

  • If I had ever considered supporting McCain, his pick for VP removed all doubt that I would not want him as president.

  • Nice infomercial Palin..

  • People criticizing Palin's experience have not thought this one through. Her experience is the only experience that matters... ENERGY HARDBALL. She plays this game with the big boys and wins...

Since Obama lacks experience, I'm glad he chose Biden with his foreign policy experience. However, recent actions and speeches from Russia, Iran and Venezuela make it clear that for the next president, foreign policy is going to be highly dependent upon ENERGY policy.

    Sarah Palin is no lightweight.

  • If her only job is ENERGY then McCain should've made her Sec. of Energy not VP. As VP how will she combat Health Care? The War in Iraq? Does she know the difference between Sunni and Shiite? What is her thoughts on cyber terrorism? Immigration? I don't know if she has the qualifications for this job (there are plenty of other Republican females who do). Is she as qualified as Condelleza Rice? Why was she not vetted?

  • Answers to mcxyz: I would like to know what your qualifications are for judging her abilities) (I didn't know we were at WAR with Healthcare) ( Well she's been there many more times than Obama) ( Gee she was there, what do you think?) She has already told us she agrees with McCain on those issues, were you not listening?)( Ms. Rice expressed her non interest in the job along time ago so why would she have been considered) ( She was vetted you dingbat, she wouldn't be there if she wasn't)
