  • OMG that sound is amazing !

  • Scion tC have a T-Chassis , it's the chassis of Prius , Avensis , Corona , Celica & Caldina ... Toyota Corolla have E-Chassis .

  • @SpikeRazzor its not based on a corrola. belive it or not the scion tc is accutaly a toyota caldina

  • tc stands for toyota celica

  • @screwstonloca No, if anything it stands for Totoya Corrola, the car the TC is based on...

  • scion with v8 and rwd and still has the scion feeling...i just had a dream come true, cept its not mines :P hahaha

  • you bastards could at least put on a set of magnaflows not the stuff that sounds like you just ate an expired can of chilli

Hey a v8 in a sport compact talk about the ultimate sleeper car

  • i wanna see this engine in a silvia lol

  • Hey Congratulations You have just Been Nominated for the Best Idea Ever Award lol.

  • Puñetaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • It's about the ultimate in customization! Definitely a cool experiment!

  • The only reason y they r putting scions in formula d is because Toyota is sponsoring them. so there pretty much forced to take a scion when toyota offers it to them. Ken Gushi drove 1 last year and did horribly in it. Formula D is about using cars w/ parts that you can buy on the streets. How is a RWD Scion even possible for an average joe??

  • maybe it has to do with something with the new subaru/toyota alliance in 2012, they are releasing a FR car pwered by a boxer engine

  • well I was at formula D yesterday, and this scion did very well, even though it placed 3rd its small very quick.

  • rwd drive conversion is posible for the average joe because the chasis layout is pretty much the same as the jdm toyota Caldina which is rwd so pretty much the drivetrain was pretty much bolt ons

  • Toyota Avenis is the same chassis as the tC which is an AWD chassis. That's why it's allowed in the FD rules.

  • They aren't "Forced" to do anything. They are given an offer, and they accepted it.

  • in Japan the TC is an AWD platform at round 2 I was talking to Steph Papadakis and Tanner and they sait that it was a Japanese TC converted to left hand drive and they swapped it to RWD and put a V8 in it and same with Gushi's TC except his is a 4cylinder. But they arent forced to take anything from Toyota or Scion... And Gushi is actually pretty good in his now lol surprisingly.

  • They dont make the tc in japan

  • oh i though they did... That is what Steph said but maybe he meant something else or I heard him wrong.

  • The tC's chassis comes from the Toyota Avensis which comes in AWD. It's sold in Europe.

  • yea scion sells only in america.

  • now that is sexy.....i want one please for my tC..kthxbai!....lol ....

  • I dont like the fact thats scion is invading formula d. But you guys have 2 admit a scion w/ a nascar v8 is insane. Ken Gushi must be pissed at Tean RSR for lagging it LMAO. Cant wait to see this monster in action.

  • why don't you like this? invading?

  • Amazing work! I have a turbo tC, but I'm a V8 guy at heart...and this just makes me happy in my pants.

  • Thats definitely a special kind of happy

  • Screw Toyota. Build some exciting cars and THEN you can enter racing again.

  • Hater

  • haha hater? I went to the 'yota dealership and saw 5 cars with standard transmissions. That's just a shit tonne of fail. I love classic Toyotas, but the stuff they put out now is garbage, vanilla garbage.

  • So the Lexus IS-F is garbage? Come on dude.

They save the performance stuff for their other brands.

What's the point of making a performance camry?

  • @seaninc I agree. I'm a Chevrolet guy and I want to DESTROY TOYOTA!!!!!!!!!

  • seaninc, what do YOU consider an exciting car?
