Its HIV people NOT AIDS.... AIDS is the sickness that occurs when HIV has progressed!!! HIV is the virus that causes AIDS but can be controlled with HAART! So instead of saying a person has AIDS do a little more research... Its more appropriate to refer to someone as having the HIV virus

@anglxqtx, after 25 years and few know the differnce between HIV and AIDS. AIDS is not a sickness, AIDSyndrome is a combination od diseases, like opportinistic infections and some cancers. Although AIDS establishment chnages rules every dacade. Now if a person HIV+ and has hepatitis he's AIDS, if a person HIV- and has hepatitis he just has hepatitis. That is a diognosis that has been given to one of my friends and without being assimptomatic put him on toxic drugs.

Condoms give protection, because it keeps the fluids seperate. The chance of getting AIDS trough blood or fluid is very high. But through skin/skin, spit (without blood) or tears the chance is so small that its almost never mentioned. Yes if a dentist gets blood in his eye during treatment of an AIDS patient, he will get infected.
Not sure,but I heard that if ur partner has aids.. and u are around him/her all day the chance is bigger to get infected (without sex!) through air that both breath

firstly that's false, but in that case is there skin contact using condoms? the true deal is never use condoms with oil based lubricants that make the condom porous and thereby more susceptible to virus transmission. Condoms do not prevent *one from getting an sti or aids as they are not 100% but they help prevent it and it included aids.
Aids is spread through fluid-sexual, saliva, blood/transfusions, needles ect. You can not get aids through skin to skin contact. For more info talk to your GP

To become infected with HIV you must get a sufficient quantity of the virus into your body. Saliva does contain HIV, but the virus is only present in very small quantities and as such cannot cause HIV infection.
Unless both partners have large open sores in their mouths, or severely bleeding gums, there is no transmission risk from mouth-to-mouth kissing.

AIDS is the end result of an infection by HIV. You don't spread AIDS, you spread HIV. HIV may go on to become AIDS when you get a certain class of infections called opportunistic infections, or when your t-cell count drops below 200.
HIV is not spread through skin contact, rather certain bodily fluids - blood, semen, vaginal discharges, etc. Using protection reduces the risk of contracting HIV.

i think the lethal injection should be administered to those who deliberately spread the virus and to those who do not attempt to protect themselves from aids, thus contracting it, if we get rid of these irresponsible ppl, then maybe the disease wil die out......strict laws should be made about this, such as carrying an up-to-date certificate proving that u dont have the virus, and it should be renewed every couple months or so. And it should be a federal offense if u fail to provide one.
