  • ~"Ma belle peche"~

i love when he says that. love Albedo and his theme.

  • Who the fuck is this homo?

  • @XJamxBerryX Honestly, I think the uncensored is creepier too. I laughed when the knife sound effect still came on and there was no knife. His arm went "shink!" I like Crispin Freeman more probably, but the scene itself was better left uncensored.

  • DAT MAKE ME SO HARD I HAVE A TWITCH

  • thing is, in the Japanese version, this guy was LESS scary.

first off, in that version he used a knife to dismember himself, not his own hands.

Crispen Freeman was WAY creepyer then the Japanese VO.

  • @Bloodyidit The Japanese VA had the better laugh, though.

  • @BeingBadAtMaths

    true, true.

  • "There's enough of it, we can afford to waste as much as we want!!! Like my head, YOU SEE?!?!? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!"

    Me: OH MY GOD *shaking*

  • Crispin Freeman at his best!!!!

  • "'Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone'. Wheat, eh? We have enough of it, we can waste as much as we want! Like, my head, you see!?!?"

  • 0__e

  • I know seem to become obsessed with Xenosaga in-a-way!

I don't know why, but, the story is just so phenominal, that it blows everything into outer space, only to find that the U-DO's infest it.

  • I'm in the mood to be a bit insane.

  • His name is freaking Albedo! That's a reference to ones stamina (in bed herpderp); you cant kill him with normal means. Its like naming the bad guy "Watches you get tired" who just waits for you to do your worst so he can get his turn.

  • @lumpwump

    Er, isn't that 'libido'?

  • @05Erebus

    close enough

  • @lumpwump That's libido. Albedo is Latin for Whiteness, Rubedo is Latin for Redness, and Nigredo is Latin for Blackness, which was given to them for the three brothers' hair color.

  • Uncensored version: he cracks the Realian's arm and then throws the corpse away. Scares MOMO with a knife and then cuts his arm and head with it. Head is seen talking in the ground.

Censored version: he drops the Realian's arm and you can't see when he gets rid of the corpse. He then scares MOMO by getting close to her and somehow cuts his arm, then proceeds to tear his head appart from his body with his bare hands. Head is seen talking in the ground next to the body.

    Which is creepier?

  • @Supermariofan14 Censored, imo. Cutting your head and arm off is one thing. Try ripping your arm and head off. Not only does that take a whole lot of strength, it's psychologically more horrible.

  • @deadpisser88 Yeah, it's kinda weird how they made it worse in the censored version.

  • did you know that 桃 (momo) is japanese for "peach"

  • @SigmaRidley I could eat a peach for hours.

  • @SigmaRidley Well that explains why he calls her "ma peche" which is "my peach" in French...

  • I don't even need to play the game to tell this song portrays pure insanity and evil

  • I think the appeal of Albedo was the combination of sheer power with a staggering amount of insanity. Not unlike Kefka for FF6.

  • Ladies and gentlemen, the devil himself.

  • I thought albedo is from ben 10. can he transform too? XD

  • @andretatontos No, but he can cut his limbs off and regenerate them! Which he does on a regular basis. <3

  • Hi MOMO. How's it goin-I CUT OFF MY HEAD!

  • What is it about villains and opera's and chior's?

  • ☠_☠ = you when you screw with albedo.

  • Really powerful song. Not familiar with the series but I'll probably have to try it out now. This song to me seems to give off an aura of perversion or sacrilege, for some reason.

  • Albedo is probably one of the most under rated villains in the history of ever. He puts Sephiroth to shame!

  • Perhaps the greatest videogame villian of all time. In episode I we are treated to (by any RPG standards) one truly sick bastard with scene after scene of horrifying insanity. In the second game we gain first perspective insight of Albedo the innocent and naive child, learning the torment of what it means to live forever. After a good 5 or 6 years of playing I still believe that Albedo and Rubedo are two of the most fleshed out characters in RPG history. Sooooo much character development.

  • @Leishtek Well considering Rubedo hijacked the entire second game to flesh out his character and backstory that's a fair statement to make.

  • The piano part sounds creepy *_*

  • Albedo a god. He makes Sephiroth look like a whorre. Funny thing is Albedo says real shit about humans. Not only did he mind rhape momo but he mind rhaped me when i first saw that shit.

  • @Darkmajesty22 I find that RPGs in general are really good at making Villains that when it boils down to it, even if you think their methods are selfish/abhorrent/monstrous/unethical, you really end up finding yourself resonating with some, if not all aspects, of their philosophy. This happened to me with the Killer from Persona 4, Kefka, Sephiroth, Xemnas, etc.

  • @Zellig me with luca blight and wilhelm...

  • @Zellig I agree with Sephiroht Xemnas not so much He's got the power but that's all he does for me I consider Master Xehanort a better villain than Xemnas.

  • Those words you're hearing aren't words... they're what's Vocalization.... and that's just what it is. Might be like 1 or 2 words in the entire theme... but I wouldn't expect them to be english for some reason.

  • Albedo. Showing us that videogames dont give a **** about 4-kids. And rightly so.

  • Darn Albedo and his Momo mind-rape scene.

Everyone in the family ended up peeking in my room when they kept hearing some maniacal male voice while a little girl voice was squealing, "No! Don't go inside of me!"

    x_x

  • @NoGirlsOnTheInternet Now, was this the US release or the original version, because there are huge differences between the two versions of that scene, the least disturbing of which is the "data retreaval"

  • @NoGirlsOnTheInternet Albedo: "Don't mind me, I'm going to make the game incredibly awkward to play around friends and family."

  • Albedo reminds of the crazy uncle in the family who everyone is scared to invite to holiday dinners, but does anyway out of respect. Then he goes on these long rants about things you don't care about or can't comprehend and you're sitting at the table afraid to make eye contact with him. Good ole uncle Albedo. I miss Xenosaga!!!

  • Truly a master piece.

  • Only in Xenosaga can we see someone decapitate him/herself to the sound of grand orchestra and chorus.

  • Imagine if you heard his voice in RL whispering "Ma Belle Peche"... I would freak out.

  • @LiuHry if i heard him in RL, let alone saw him i´d shit a fucking brick.

  • Ma Belle Peche

  • Aghh, I can hear his voice and he's not even talking! Curse you theme music! Now I can't go to sleep. I'll be hearing "MA BELLE PECHE!!!" all night.

  • @RiceBallJunkie

He he he ha ha ha AHA HA HA HA HA AHA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Albedo's english dub voice is one of the things that make Crispin Freeman awesome.

  • I always thought Albedo is just a big pedo :D And it won't change but, DEAR GOD! He's just so awesome and fucked up. Can't help but to love him.

  • wow :o

  • Albedo is greatest villian i have ever seen. He's so twisted it's awesome, I was sad when he died at the end of Episode 2, but he came back later so it's all good :)

  • Albedo and Rubedo remind me of Dr. Who and that Master.

  • The only RPG bad guy you wish didn't die...

That evil mastermind that you can't help but like...

    You love to hate him...

You hate to love him... but you do...

Albedo Piazzola, you'll haunt us forever...

but that's what you wanted, isn't it?

Even as you're dead, you'll never die

In our hearts you'll forever terrify.

  • @epluribusunum0 thats strangely albedo-ishO_O

  • my little peach....

  • One of the greatest villians ever, in a video game or otherwise. This track sent chills down my spine years ago when I first played and it still does today. It's a damn shame that he softened up after Episode 1.

  • @KaitoMiki Albedo is better than Kefka.

  • @PhoenixWrightfan101 Albedo makes ALL FF villains looks tame. He gets my vote for most evil/best bad guy in video game history.

  • @yamibalus Im a Ganondorf guy, but whatever, Albedo is still pretty evil

  • Albedo is DIABOLICAL!! I love Sephiroth as much as the next person, but it's villians like Albedo that put other villians to shame. XD

  • OPERA NO!!!!! THE MEMORIES ARE COMING BACK X .X! and lol teres no real singing :o but i like i guess. and.... MOMMEY Q~Q

  • i played this on my organ. it rocks!!! lol it's a rock organ. lol!!!!! no no jk it's a hammond... but still sounds true to the original.

  • this freak reminds me of Creed from the anime Black Cat.

  • Creed was gay, but Albedo rocks(and he's not gay)

  • Come on now, Albedo is a little bit gay. At least in the "likes boys" way.

  • @acidragdoll

I think he's puting on a show so people won't know any of his dirty little secrets. The part with MOMO almost confirms it. One of the few times a game scene creeped me out. Normally I like being creeped out, but not how it went for that one scene.

  • fucking badass man

  • Most people seem to think, that Villians like Sephiroth, are "Bad Ass".(Hur Hur I have a big sword) It's really Villians like Albedo that shine. Unique Personality, a real past, and a truly devious agenda. Albedo is just so full of Character it's amazing, and really shames a lot of the other villains out there.

  • *laughs maniacally while ripping off his own head*

  • @VenomousWoe I love that part. It looked like it hurt like hell but Albedo makes it look so easy and painless. I was laughing my head off with him lmbo! XD

  • I thought I was going to fight him again on Xenosaga 3, but was dissapointed, oh well; Albedo is still really badass. I thought it was sad when he blew his head off and cried, because Rubedo and Negrido couldn't regenerate.

  • I really like how Albedo always tried to be in control but never really was, it made me feel so bad for him.

  • favorite Xenosaga villain and theme! and posted on my bday, nice!

  • @xzeroangelx Xenosaga? He STILL Creeps me out.

  • albedo is the sickest villian there is, does he die in xenosaga 3?

  • @DarrenBunt

    Um...Kinda....But not really....

  • lol

do you think that they are gonna remake xenogears because I hope they do, I just found out that it's a sequel to xenosaga, so I really hope they do

  • Having beat the game I honestly can't say he did for certain, he is "resting" in Jr's body. So however you want to take that.

  • oh right right, that would make a lot of sense, lol

  • Albedo...definitely one of the best video game villains ever. Love this theme, too.

  • Albedo and Id are fairly similar in termss of their themes

  • albedo..........INSANITY Incarnate!!!!

  • He calls MOMO peche(peach) and everyone else peche(sinner)

  • I LOVE THIS THEME!!!...reminds of Albedo's craziness.

  • I really ought to finish Xenosaga sometime... it is a fairly decent game.

  • ma peche

i swear i love the word peche just from him. freakin creeps me out tho.

for those who dont know peche is another word for peach

  • It's Peach in Frensh

  • it mean two thing peach like you said and my sin

  • Personally, I think that Ep. I had the best music out of the entire Xenosaga series. Yasunori Mitsuda did a bunch of great pieces that I think Yuji Kajiura fell a little short of. I think "Last Battle" was the best song of the series...and in the following episodes, "Sweet Song" was the only thing that stuck in my head from Ep. II, and Ep. III didn't have any defining songs for me. Maybe it's because the London Philharmonic Orchestra played for Ep. I that I found it so likable ^_^...

  • Albedo is the shit.

  • I agree. He is the most damn awesome villain I have ever seen in a video game or even in most books or movies!

  • I ♥ Albedo! he's mah home slice x3

  • It's fun to sing the opera part at the top of your lungs. 8D

  • what are the lyrics?

  • No idea... but for me, it goes like, "WoaaahOHHH, ohhhh~hhh, ohhhhh, OHH, he's a man!"

    ...that's what it sounds like they're saying. ;_;

  • @tsuuuki It's the Latin 'miserere'... 'suffering'.

  • @NeoItoh I had no idea! That's an interesting little piece of information. :3

  • @tsuuuki xD Thanks, now I can't stop hearing it that way.

  • @tsuuuki Not just A man, THE man!

  • makes my want to say: OOHH that tingles!

then makes me want to dress up like a kirschwasser and wait for Albedo

  • LOL. i can't remember hearing this song but i haaated it when he said that tingling bit. i was like "grr it's supposed to hurt!"

  • You hear it in one of Albedo's battles. I cant remeber which one

  • I think Albedo might be one of Crispen Freeman's greatest roles. He's such a badass and now he's an -insane- badass. There are so very few songs that could do the job of accurately capturing this incredible madman, but as to be expected of Xenosaga's soundtrack, it does it stellarly.

  • Now you finally have all three games up here :)

I lol'd when he tore his head off and grew a new one.

  • Sounds one part creepy, one part epic, and one part PS1 era.

  • Excellent music! Really brings back memories.

  • A great theme by Mitsuda. It's especially memorable during the famous scene between Albedo and MOMO.

  • Ahhh...that particular scene between Albedo and MOMO. Man, I nearly jumped out of my chair the first time I saw that scene. He was one crazy bastard to do those things to himself...

  • If I remember correctly the developers almost had to cut that scene from the game because of how bad it was, the managed to keep it in though they just had to edit some things.

Still, that scene was like something out of a stephen king novel, very disturbing scene.

  • That is hardly disturbing to anyone who watches good horror movies and reads horror novels once in awhile. Still, I loved it because you do not usually get that in a video game.

  • @DarkSeraphim02 funny thing is that the "censored" NA version is actually more disturbing... using his bare hands instead of a knife

  • @DarkSeraphim02 The scene that was "censored" ironically turned out to be more disturbing than the uncensored version. At least, I think so.

  • @DarkSeraphim02 and then directed into a stanley kubrik film.

  • albedo: watch me do a youtube glitch. HAAAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHHAAAAHAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAAAHHAHAHAHHAHHAHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAAAAHAHAHHAHAHA
