The french were (and are) a bunch of whiny farmers, complaining about anything and everything because they can be bothered to do anything about it themselves. And then they go and make out they did all kinds of great things during the war, and people lap it up like milk.

There wasn't really a war with France while Germany occupied territory (until the allies came through D-Day)

It's not actually like that in game.

In game the only thing you really ever see is the sand directly in front of you and the tracers bouncing around your head. If you do see a bunker over the sand in front of you you're pretty much gonna get shot right then and there.

actually they only got to invade Berlin because the Americans and the Brits let them. It was a condition of the alliance. However, I do agree that it was amazing of the Russians to hold off the nazis at stalingrad. That pretty much won the war for the allies there.

Actually Russia lost Stalingrad for a while but because of hitlers mindless attack Stalin managed to mass a huge army around stalingrad without hitler knowing and countered attacked also it was the dead of winter and the germans didnt have winter BCUs

but the germans did not get any further than stalingrad. Therefore the Russians held them off at Stalingrad. Germany stretched there lines too long in the middle of winter. And the reason why they were in winter is because Hitler's planned to invade Russia 3 months earlier than they did, but it was delayed due to a outbreak in Yugoslavia.
