i got my guitar for christmas, i've been playing my brothers for about two months before hand, i can play all the chords at the top of the neck, i can only bar a few. i can do the g pant. scale and the "dreaded" hammer on pull off. it's not really hard but i was just wondering is that basic for playing for about 2 or 3 months or is that above avg. i guess you could say i'm musicly talented aswell b/c i can play the piano too. please let me know thanks in advance

Neoclassical shred can be very melodic and soulful, it all depends on the player. Take canon rock for example, that's some good soulful shred!
