Fair play Liam, such a tribute to a man who ha d so much more to give us. Sadly you have left us too, along with Ronny, where will the next Ireland's greats come from?
A really touching tribute from a man whose voice could make you just curl up and listen forever.
Ah Jaysus Liam, no one could say it so well. You're a poet of the first order!!! The greats: Luke Kelly, Willie Clancy, The Clancy Brothers and Tommy Makem, Seamus Ennis, Johnny Doherty, Michael Coleman, Ronnie Drew, Danny Devery (from St. Louis by way of County Offaly), AND those that are left: Joe Burke, Finbarr Dwyer, Paddy Maloney, Kevin Burke, Finbarr Furey, etc., etc. Carry on the traditiion boys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
possibly the most moving speach I've ever heard, two Irish legends which make me so proud to say i have Irish blood and god knows what i would give to have seen Luke kelly in prime.
Beautiful, heartfelt, erudite and eloquent tribute from another of the greats of Irish music and culture. Heartbreaking each of the many times I have listened over the years. The Dawning of the Day; such a masterstroke too. Brilliant video.

Talent cannot be measured by the money, If it could then Liam,Luke and the rest of the lads would be multi millionaires instead of just PRICELESS.
