  • Monsanto is despicable. We Americans should shut them down and refuse to support any candidate, Left or Right, who doesn't speak out against them, GMOs, Agenda 21, and Codex Alimentarius.

  • I'm sure the question that came up as they were coming up with the ideas in creating GMO foods was "I wonder how this is going to effect humans health in the future". That question was probably followed with "mehh who cares, I'm getting paid tomorrow".

  • GUYS. PROTEST MONSANTO, NOT GMOS. MONSANTO IS THE PROBLEM.

  • There is no genetically modified tomato on the market. The Calgene tomato, no longer sold, selected for the trait that delays ripening, increasing shelf life. There is no cross species selection for these traits. GMO technology only accomplishes what could be accomplished by conventional plant breeding more efficiently.Yields are greatly increased, less chemicals, less water. Pesticide is NOT introduced to the plant, a TRAIT for natural resistance is selected. This video is a Luddite fantasy

  • 50% cancer rates? why should we be suprised. The are killing us.

  • Tomatoes aren't organisms....organisms require organs beyond the cellular level. :) One thing not accounted for in these fear-mongering videos is the processing power of the human liver and kidneys, which is immensley good at destroying toxins, free radicals, and cleaning the blood. Especially the flouride freak out, which has as much strain on you as half an aspirin pill.

  • Post in Facebook, etc. Write your congress. It should be against the law to patent genetic modification. Remove the profit from patents and GMO food will go away. Otherwise we die. The poison created by GMO to kill bugs gets in our organs.

  • Wow, it is actually amazing how far our technology has come. But this is bad.

  • People that have no clue how biotechnology even works should just shut the fuck up or educate themselves. We've been doing this stuff for centuries. It's called cultivation. Only cultivation is the "shotgun approach" whilst biotechnology is as exact as it gets.

  • @d4ark LMAO speaking of no clue. No amount of cultivation can break the natural protections that keep one species from crossing with another. Biotechnology breaks those natural barriers combining 2 entirely different species and creating a 3rd species. No matter how many centuries you cultivate something you will NEVER be able to cross species, natures does not allow it: BIOTECHNOLOGY DOES. Bon apetite now go learn something because your STUPID is showing.

  • @Sworldpeas Dude, I know that. But how is that a bad thing? Genetic code is universal for most organisms (mostly except Archaea), so it works the same way in many organisms. Of course you can't just swap genes like that, but the potential benefits are huge. It just needs to be researched. I just get pissed when people bitch about it just because they're afraid of progress don't know how it works.

  • @d4ark Dude the science will never match the engineering. It sounds great on paper but in the real world there are too many unknowns and the risk for potential disaster is too great. I don't know of a single peer reviewed study that shows the health benefits of eating a concentrated form of Coliform bacteria, do you? Monsanto admits that GMO can be a food allergen in some people. If GMO is "progress" as you say then why do you think Monsanto won't allow peer review on their GMO?

  • So close to the t v

    irous I can feel it

  • Ok, man.......relax.

  • why arent there more views???? Really!!!!?

  • @reido720 idk but this is counfusing, stupid gmo project to hard

  • what pisses me off is that they dont even test-run anything, those Philippians for example, they had all that shit go wrong with their bodies. Did the scientists know that would happen? and just didnt care? Lets fucking hope not.

  • Everything was created by a force unknown to perfection. We are perfect as we are and everything arround us and do not need change. Evolution has done a real damn good job and was doing so untill humans came along and began to fuck everything up. Polution, Nuclear bombs, wars and mutch more are only a smal thing. We are surely killing ourselves. Belive it or not we kinda deserve this, but we are draging the rest of worlds lifeforms with us and thats the sad part :(

  • omg i really need to grow my own veg now this is mental

  • well got damn......I can't even eat a got damn tomato anymore.....

  • Tastes like cancer and orgain failure, yum yum. When you want to play God there is a price to pay.

  • @TheFitnessShinobi We have been "playing God" for a while pal...just look at our medical system. Bringing people back to life with defibrillators and other tools is "playing God"...and that's just the tip of the iceberg. If you want to stop it in the foods, might as well stop it all together then, right?

  • WOW, really i could understand if they said "hey lets put blueberry DNA into raspberry DNA, maybe it will create a tasty raspblueberry?"

but NO, lets genetically modify the plant so it makes poison and has all sorts of fucked up shit in it!! yeaaaaaaaaaaaaa....

monsanto: HUR DUR WE SO COOL LOLOLOL, LETS PUT PLUTONIUM IN OUR CORN AND GROW NUKES..

    fucking jackasses!!!

thumbs up so people can understand my rage!!!!!! peace.

  • @YashPwnter I share your rage at monsanto. peace back at ya

  • whats so dangerous about this?

    anyone....

  • @robin22391 1 month ago in these comments I posted several sttudies which suggest potential adverse health affects in animals fed some varieties of GM foods. There have been billions of dollars in economic losses from GM contamination, herbicide resistant weeds, etc. as well as studies suggesting an adverse environmental impact. I can post studies, etc. for economic and environmental impact, etc. if the small sample of health studies I posted aren't enough for you.

  • @robin22391 it can cause cancer lmao

and destory ur organs...and may even kill u.

  • guys tho can harm the human body right, or am i wrong

  • its safe the food has no side efect

the expariments cause the sintest to lose morals

    but nothing to you

  • @DrMegaGenius unless thay stick thair man made chemicals into our food then thats messing with nature a but too much

  • @DrMegaGenius thanks FBI , but your statement is wrong

  • ANYONE HERE DRINK COKE?

    PEPSI?

Have you ever purchased a soft drink?

(have you ever bought one for your kid?)

    You funded this 'monstrosity.'

    Les

  • Its a giant nonsnse they are saying... they use provocative words like viruses and bacterias to scarre ordinary people... There is no evidence that GMO can contaminate native genofond... These activists are slowing down process of development in poor countries...

  • @Petrhrabal

my friend you need to do your research... Slowing down development in poor countries??? Its been the poor countries who have been burning down mansanto farms which caused a lot of this press on mansanto, because if the countries who cant afford food are burning there crops to start all over and america is still growing em?

  • AbbyMediaRoots You are so sexy ;).

    You have nice chicks.

  • @myndy86 I like how much effort you put in to this too bad your not getting paid for this by the way their coming out with 2-WD and Dicamba tolerant soybeans and im going to be planting them as soon as they come out because what you dont realize is that what Monsanto is doing is something that naturally occurs but it takes many years for it to occur on its own. If you think this is false search Roundup tolerant weeds. Certain weeds are developing tolerance on their own

  • @1bigmachine So, you are getting paid to make comments on youtube? Glyphosate resistant weeds occur because of selection pressure, that is not the same as RoundupReady crops which use bacterial and virus promoters, antibiotic resistant marker genes, agrobacterium, etc. I'm sure you understand the danger involved with using E.coli, introducing antibiotic resistant genes in crops, and agrobacterium transforms human cells the same way it does plant cells. RR crops are much more dangerous!

  • @myndy86 if you really believe that the GE food adversly effects livestock tell me who did the studies and where was it done or is that something you made up because ive never heard of it before if you can tell me that then ill give you credit that you at least have an argument

    etc., etc.

  • @myndy86 just dont eat GM foods and let other people do what they want why do you care what other people do its none of your business what we do and i gurantee you Monsanto has way more money invested in the research of their products than you do the FDA wouldnt allow it if it wasnt safe, your hopeless

  • @1bigmachine You said "just dont eat GM foods and let other people do what they want". I can't just not eat GM foods because 11% of organic farms tested had GM contamination, so I am forced to eat GM foods! FDA hasn't established any regulations specific to GM foods. FDA alllows biotech companies to do their own safety tests and have an informal process where the biotech companies tells them that they did a 28-90 day rodent trial and they think it's safe.

  • @myndy86 only a very small amount of the corn production goes to the things your talking about. 33% of the total US corn crop goes to ethanol production. let me guess you think the exaust of the cars running on the ethanol is going to kill you. And who cares if DNA was found in the muscle tissue of the livestock it didnt kill them

  • @1bigmachine The huge majority of corn starch, high fructose corn syrup, etc. in the U.S. comes from GE corn. Whether that represents the majority of the corn grown doesn't matter, because it is still present in the majority of processed food. As for GE DNA not killing the livestock, the livestock are generally slaughtered before old age, so there is no way to know if their lifespan would have been shortened in a natural setting. However, animal studies suggest adverse affects from GE food.

  • @myndy86 name one person that has died as a result of GMO food then look up how easy people die of not having enough food to eat yall all have to have something to bitch about but if yall ever had to go hungry you would only have one problem. If it wasnt for modern genetics most of us farmers would go broke.

  • @1bigmachine That is a rather poor argument, considering the huge majority of people who consume GE food live in countries where GE food is not labeled, it becomes extremely difficult to link GE food to any illness, death, etc. You just got done saying GE corn isn't used for food, and then you tried to imply people would starve without GE food. UN report IAASTD concluded GE crops can potentially increase hunger and poverty in poor countries, where most hunger and poverty occur.

  • lol @ the dramatic background music.

  • Yall do realize that the corn that yall are talking about is not what people eat its #2 yellow FIELD CORN not sweet corn that corn is for livestock and ethanol production and if you really believe that they yield less then why do you think monsanto is still making them if it didnt make more we wouldnt plant them. Yall are looking for a problem were there isnt one do something better with your time

  • @1bigmachine #2 yellow FIELD CORN is one of the most widely used crops in processed food. #2 yellow FIELD CORN is used to make corn starch, corn oil, high fructose corn syrup, maltodextrin, sorbitol, dextrose, etc., all of which are consumed on a daily basis by the average consumer in the U.S. Even if it were only used to feed livestock(which it isn't), there is plenty of evidence that DNA from the GE corn can be found in muscle tissue, etc. of those livestock that people consume.

  • great info but ur voice is so unpleasent!!

  • great info, thank you

  • Anyone know any companies that don't take part in this "experiment" on us in our food?

  • gosh so complicated...

  • Imagine raw vegans eating them

  • Are all americans that ignorant?

  • Risks of growing genetically modified foods consist of the possibility of injuring humann's health through unanticipated allergie reactions, and the potential for creating environmental and economic crises through higher pest resistance to chemicals and through increasing domination of agriculture by farming technojogy corporations.

  • this video seems biased.. i'd like to see an independent study to confirm that people who live next to BT crops have health problems related to the GMO crops

  • @terrendously Studies suggest Bt crops affect several non-target organisms "Our results show that transgenic crops expressing Cry1Ab protein at 5000 ppb may affect food consumption or learning processes and thereby may impact honey bee foraging efficiency." ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/18206234

  • @terrendously "during a 7-day oral exposure to the various treatments (transgenic, imidacloprid-treated and control), honey bee feeding behaviour was disturbed and bees consumed significantly less CCRI41 cotton pollen than in the control group in which bees were exposed to conventional cotton pollen. It may indicate an antifeedant effect of CCRI41 pollen on honey bees and thus bees may be at risk because of large areas are planted with transgenic Bt cotton" ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/20700762

  • @terrendously "Plant residues of transgenic plants, plowed under at harvest and kept mixed with soil for up to 4 months, affected soil respiration, bacterial communities, and mycorrhizal establishment by indigenous endophytes." ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/ PMC1287690/

  • @terrendously "corn byproducts, such as pollen and detritus, enter headwater streams and are subject to storage, consumption, and transport to downstream water bodies. Laboratory feeding trials showed that consumption of Bt corn byproducts reduced growth and increased mortality of nontarget stream insects. Stream insects are important prey for aquatic and riparian predators, and widespread planting of Bt crops has unexpected ecosystem-scale consequences." ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/17923672

  • What this video neglects to mention is that Bacillus thuringiensis is an approved organic insecticide, so what's so different about its use in GM? They also don't mention that the tomato with a flounder gene never reached the market. They lie about the intended use of RoundupReady crops and their explanation of the modification process is horribly garbled.

All in all, this video is junk.

  • @SoundOfScilence Bt spray used in organic is very different than Bt crops. Bt crops have altered metabolic pathways, the cry protein involved is affected by nitrogen and other nutrient and environmental factors, the level of the toxin can be significantly higher. Bt spray is applied externally and exposed to environmental factors that degrade it. Bt crop's use gene expression for cry proteins, so Bt crops persist in the soil and environment longer and more likely to do damage, etc..

  • The last minuet of this is complete lies. Why are people trying to hold back great technology that could cut costs and save lives.

  • @MrCockSlut UN report IAASTD says "The use of patents for transgenes introduces additional issues. In developing countries especially, instruments such as patents may drive up costs, restrict experimentation by the individual farmer or public researcher while also potentially undermining local practices that enhance food security and economic sustainability." Which is the exact opposite of your claim "could cut costs and save lives".

  • Next step. Who is able to stop these actions?

In order to investigate the possible side-effects?

  • it mutates randomly

  • This just a step up from grafting. This fear mongering gets people killed when governments buy this BS. Just like Zambia did.

  • @tobitadagon Nobody died in Zambia from not accepting GE food! The GE food was replaced with Non-GE food by the World Food Program. The food was bought locally, which benefited the local economy. Had Zambia accepted the GE-food it would have ruined the Zambian economy because 53% of Zambian food exports were to the European Union which has strict regulations on GE food and would probably not import food from Zambia or impose costly testing. Not accepting GE food benefited the Zambian people.

  • The young kids eager to prove their worth in the next street protest hear "Evil corporation spawns yet another seed of destruction" but I hear competition killing and the cry of all the smaller farmers who don't possess the technology to mass profit. Is this really bad for humanity? Why don't we give every fucking one the technology and let's see if anyone still gonna cry about it? No one likes corporations but instilling vague fear and taking the audience for fools are even worse.

  • @CroissantOrange Most farmers don't want GE crops, it is the biotech companies and the U.S. government who are forcing it on European countries like Austria. Even poor countries like Haiti have rejected GE seeds. It has nothing to do with small farmers not having GE seeds, it has to do with the huge amount of problems GE has already caused. Type "GM Crops Farmer to Farmer" in the youtube search and this is just a very small portion of the problems caused by GE crops.

  • @myndy86 and lest us not forget McDonalds and Burger King who love GMO..

  • @myndy86 What the heel you are talking about? Nobody is forcing them to grow genetically modified crops.

  • @TheFinlandnator I never said "forcing them to grow" but there are attempts to force GE crops on countries, etc. European Commission has had legal action against them by BASF, Pioneer, etc. for not approving some GE crops. European Commission themselves have attempted to force some countries in the EU to lift their bans on GE crops. Surveys in the U.S. have found 11% of organic farms had GE contamination, etc. Through legal action, GE contamination, etc., GE crops are being forced on people.

  • @myndy86 I guess you are right. If you ask me all these problems with GE crops are combination of irresponsibility, lack of research and greed. The GMO technology could be actually useful in the right hands and I'm glad that there are many independent universities doing actual research on GE strains and developing their own plants instead of just companies that have basically only one intention; to get maximal profit.

  • @myndy86 Have you ever considered the benefits at all? So you're saying millions of people should starve because you didn't get a good education?

  • @wei495 The UN and World Bank report,International Assessment of Agricultural Knowledge, Science and Technology Development by 400 scientists, concluded that GE crops have very little potential to alleviate poverty and hunger and can potentially increase hunger and poverty in poor countries, where most hunger and poverty occur. Several UN reports suggest organic farming can decrease hunger and poverty. However, GE contamination would probably prevent those benefits of organic.

  • @wei495 Conventional breeding has already created herbicide resistant, pest/disease resistant, high yielding, nutrient enhanced, drought and salt tolerant, etc. crops, and usually without the additional risks of GE. More than enough food to feed the world is currently produced, without GE. GE uses more land for refuges and buffer zones, usually sells for less, has use restrictions, etc. Some main reasons for starvation are poverty and lack of land. The precautionary principle should be used.

  • @myndy86 Stick to raw foods fruits and veggies what we are designed to eat! Doctors and the food industry want us fat and sick!

  • @myndy86 Farmer want more profits, GM allows that. The food chain is controlled by supermarkets like tescos and walmart not biotech or farmers.

  • @MrCockSlut UN report Organic Agriculture and Food Security in Africa which states, "Poverty is a major contributory factor to food security, organic farmers benefit from (i) cash savings, as organic farming precludes the need to purchase synthetic pesticides and fertilisers; (ii) extra incomes gained by selling the surplus produce(resulting from the change to organic); (iii) premium prices for certified organic produce, obtained primarily in Africa for export but also for domestic markets;"

  • @MrCockSlut UN report, cont. "These findings are backed up by studies from Asia and Latin America that concluded that organic farming can reduce poverty in an environmentally friendly way.""Organic farming can lead to increased food production–in many cases a doubling of yields has been seen""the average crop yield increase was even higher for these projects:116 per cent increase for all African projects and 128 per cent increase for the projects in East Africa"

  • @CroissantOrange Yr COMPLETELY off track! Nobody is complaining about competition! Food security should never be a profit centre - there's nothing wrong with food producers making a profit, but when it is at the gross expense of the environmental balance, and contributes to global food insecurity, it is unacceptable! The earth is not a testing ground - you are not a guinea pig (or perhaps you are. Are you a guinea pig?)

Do you want your kids to eat stuff that hasn't been tested properly?

  • "GM foods lead to significant organ disruptions in rats and mice, specifically the kidney, liver, heart and spleen. Bt corn caused a wide variety of immune responses in mice, commonly associated with diseases such as arthritis, Lou Gehrig's disease, osteoporosis, inflammatory bowel disease, lung damage.

Farmers noted fertility problems complete sterility, abortions, premature births, serious health issues, including deaths, among buffaloes fed GM cottonseed products.. " GMO is deadly.

    Etc., etc., etc.

  • @myndy86 I think the very small change in the physiology of the salmon in that study could probably be put down to the difference in feeds. If I only ate potato's all my life and you only ate carrots Im sure our bodys would act differently. Its a bad study. Why is it that no GM related illness has ever been reported and we have been eating GM and GM derived foods for about 18 years now?

  • @MrCockSlut So you have no problem with the other dozen or so, health studies I posted, just this one? There have been very few human studies done, and the majority of people consuming GE foods live in countries with no mandatory labels on GE foods. So, it is very diificult to tell if a GE food cause or contribute to a human illness, etc., if we don't really know who ate the GE food and who didn't.

  • @MrCockSlut salmon dont eat corn for starters.. ! Even a two yr old can see that is wrong!.. its not natural and disturbs the Omega 3/6 balance.. also they are full of sea lice because they are so crowded in their pens.. not natural !! It's obvious that you are either a total moron, or a paid shill...

I heard its rather hot in hell, perhaps you want to rethink your stance on this and other issues -

there will soon be a very high price to pay for support this planned eugenics campaign..

  • @SovereignBeing What are you talking about you stated the study about corn fed salmon, when did I ever mention I agreed with salmon farming practices. I think you are the moron, Im studying BSc Biotechnology and very much enjoy 'debating' GM with confused people like yourself. Its no supprise that your religious. And what on earth do you man by "eugenics campain" I'm starting to pity you. Fool.

  • @MrCockSlut LOL well its no surprise that you are willingly being brain washed by the education system, somehow thinking you know it all, your condesceding arrogance, is certainly amusing..

Good luck with being mind controlled further.. dont see anyone falling for your trolling comments and offensive, immature aggression do you??

and who said anything about religion..? religion is also mind control. just like education..

  • @SovereignBeing Education is mind control hahaha, so Wikipedia, all books, all of my lectures who are doctors and professors are brainwashed and you arnt. ok.. Green peace propaganda is most definitely brainwashing. You said reconsider your views befor you go and burn in hell, quite a religious reference in my books.

  • @MrCockSlut DR Mercola and just plain old common sense..

  • @SovereignBeing wheredid u get this quote??

  • @preciousLG7 Mercola.com. he;s one of the leaders of the health and wellness movement..

  • Take that ayier

  • @aiyer1989 Leeds footnotes cont."Additionally, we are aware that winter cereals on organic farms are often grown as fodder crops and not for human consumption." You can`t apply a single variety of fodder crop, in one location, in one growing season, to all crops throughout the whole world in all years. The overwhelming majority of studies suggest organic yields can feed the world, organic foods are healthier/more nutritious and organic farming is overall better for the environment.

  • @aiyer1989 Leeds study footnotes say "winter cereal fields(3 per farm) on average produce 44% the yield of comparable conventional fields""The data(in tonnes per ha) are not directly comparable with the yield a farmer would measure""These are also not "whole farm" outputs. Clearly, different crops will give rise to different yield estimates and the figure of 44% does not represent all organic crops in all locations."

  • @aiyer1989 You might want to look at the references the report used to get the 80% yield increase in 57 developing countries and 116% in Africa yield increase statistics. Both of the references for those statistics came from studies using organic farming, so in terms of the yield increases and ability to feed the world and reduce poverty, which is what I referenced, the term agroecology in this report actually does refer to organic farming.

  • that blonde is fucking annoying

  • @terravires2 GE generally poses more potential health, etc. risk than conventionally bred crops, etc. There is enough studies to suggest at least some GE foods do appear to have adverse health effects and others may have adverse health effects depending on the conditions they were grown in, etc. I believe the precautionary principle should be used and GE foods in general should be avoided if possible, until the level of testing required to ensure safety for each individual GE food is met.

  • Theres NO HOPE for a people this DUMB!!!!

  • @bianca4430 UN report International Assessment of Agricultural Science Technology Development by 400 scientists, concluded GM crops have very little potential to alleviate hunger or poverty and could actually increase hunger and poverty in poor countries where most hunger and poverty occurs. However, UN reports suggest agroecological farming such as organic farming(No GM) can alleviate hunger and poverty in poor countries.

  • @myndy86 The way I interpreted the report is that they do see potential for GMO's however, towards alleviating world hunger, however not in the economical model it resides in now. Multinationals don't have the goal to feed the poor. However in an other farming model, for example agro-ecology, they saw a lot of potential towards creating more suited crops. Cuba is the example of how they would like to see GMO production. Also: agro-ecology is not organic farming.

  • If the system wasn't so evil and corrupt; we'd be seeing videos like this on the mainstream news!

  • I've had "roma" tomatoes that tasted like FISH! Call me a crazy conspiracy theorist...I refuse to eat vegetables that produce bacteria and pesticides!

  • @RandyBful1 fucking retard, they only took DNA from a fish

  • @LegolessVideos: STFU, you braindead zombie! Eat your GMOs and go get your vaccines!

  • @RandyBful1 I apologise. I was not aware that you were dropped on your head as an infant. My condolences to your mother.

  • @alique087 LMAO! I've never heard anyone cry "fowl" about GMOs! Read my comments from Jun 27-Jul 5.

  • I don't understand why when there's a recent innovation in technology, the layman alway cries fowl.

  • no its not. Modified produce are beautiful.... yummy too.

  • @kuvceebxab1 ya until you die of cancer or cant reproduce dip fuck

  • @pmorg but before long u probably die of starvation when u r given the tool to better your food sources and so sad u chose to starve to death instead

  • @bianca4430 Organic, sustainable farming can feed the world, and as well as FUTURE generations much better than GMO crops can. BTI corn is already failing because the pests to the corn (the moths) have developed a resistance to the BTI. Please don't spread your uninformed opinions.

  • @SebtownFarmGirl No, it can't. Organic farming is a hoax. It is not better for your health, nor does it contain more sustenance. Even the claim that it is better for the environment has been largely refuted by a study from the university of Leeds. (It's hard to be better for the environment when you're productivity is about 40% less which means that for every organic farm a large part of nature has to dissapear to have the same productivity.)

  • seems that this can not be shared to my facebook ..... must really hit close to truth huh ....

  • They want to feed us with garbage!!

  • They are Playing God

  • @mssquirrely and failing! ROFL! LMAO! LOL! ;-)

  • @mssquirrely Playing god suggest there is a God We are doing this so we can make these plants resistant to disease, and thus creating healthier people.

  • @MrScreeman The most common GE crops were not developed to be resistant to disease, they were developed to be resistant to synthetic herbicides, which just so happen to be the same synthetic herbicides manufactured by the companies that developed the GE crops. Only a small fraction of GE crops were developed to be resistant to disease and in most cases conventional breeding has already created varieties of crops that are resistant to the same diseases as the GE crops.

  • @myndy86 Thank you, someone on youtube with at least a tiny bit of intelligence.

    made my day

  • I need to know what is the specific Gene/DNA/Genome or whatever that makes Tamarind SOUR! :(

    NEED HELP PLEASE

  • Sup with the chemtrails at 1:15?

  • SICK!

  • This is so wrong :::::::(
