This is the best rendition of the song I have ever heard. I love listening to Celine, Mariah and even Andrea Bocelli's versions, but Uncle Willie has the greatest natural and emotional performance ever recorded. He is a national treasure who has been recognized in Hawaii, but the rest of the country is missing out on one of it's best all round musicians.

Thanks for sharing. This is one of my favorite Christmas songs - and by Willie K Wow! Wish I were at his concert in Kona tomorrow. Got to hear him live in Hilo though during the presidential campaign in 2008. In addition to some Hawaiian favorites, he sang opera. Amazing voice.

No matter how many times I hear this song by Uncle Willie, it gets me every time.

It brings back memories of my childhood when I'd wake up on Christmas morning and my mom would have this blaring in the stereo. She's long since departed this world, but the memory still lives every time I hear this.

I saw him perform this live at the Na Leo Christmas concert this past year and I cried when he sang this song because he held nothing back when he sang and it was real deal, the recording is pwerful in itself but to hear it live. . .shi shi your pants kine, and you could feel him sing this song, not just hear but feel what he felt when he sang. His redition of 'Oh Holy Night' proves to be the best; There are no comparisons. For those who are not familiar with Willie K...if you EVER get the chance to see him in your area (yes, he does visit the Mainland!) please do!
