The romanian coin has .700 silver, the coins from The Latin Monetary Union(cca 1870- 1920: France, Belgium, Italy, Austro-Hungaria, Greece, Romania, Serbia, Bulgaria, Papal State and Venezuela) have .835 siver for the 1/2(2,5g), 1(5g), 2(10g) pieces and .900 for the 5(25 g/ 24.2 for Austria) pieces
I will search up every fleemarket to get that russian one. ;-)
you made some good experiences with fleemarkets. How dangerous do you think is it to buy on the internet (ebay)? I mean, all data on the internet, the government maybe hat access to that
Yes it's a good idea indeed man. Well I bought a few times on ebay ( always worked with cash payment. Never any shitty paypal or credit cards. I hate those ) If the seller does not have 100% good customer feedback, I stay away from them. Here in Belgium I also lijke to check out some 2nd hand sites for silver cooins. :) About that Russian one. If you are ever in München ( Germany ) check out "gold oase" that is a pawn shop I bought this coin at.
Thanks for the comment! Ebay would be a good place to look. Also bullion dealers and flea markets would be a good idea. Off course it must depend on your country. For example here in Belgium we have some websites where you can find second hand stuff. Many people sell silver coins there too.
where the best place to buy silver online? Im only 18 but I want to at least hold onto the little value I have left...what should I look for? And do they sell silver bars in like increments of grams? 1-5grams? etc?
The best place online to buy silver is BullionDirect. APMEX is more expensive, but it has a lot more variety. If you're a little low on cash, go for junk silver. More bang for the buck. Don't forget what you're going for is silver content, not pretty designs, as enticing as the may be. 90% silver coins pre-1965. Also 40% silver coins, the Kennedy Half Dollars that were minted from 1965-1970. See if you can't find some in your spare change. Hope this helped.
@TenderTrap86 actually face value of war nickles of 1 dollar holds 35% silver and have over 1 oz of silver content while a silver dollar in the US has only 77% silver content.
Freemason symbolism galore! Those birds are Phoenix, most def the two headed ones.

hmmmmmm I hear conflicting reviews of buying from BullionDirect.
In India they only have physical sales in the major metros...can anyone advise on buying from them in India, please?
Thank you!

Very interesting European silver collection. We find many of these in the U.S. but the silver content is not always known to the public. Many thanks.
