It's just the method he uses. It's a lot better than a scalpel as it cuts and cauterises at the same time. Speaking to friends who had theirs done with a scalpel it seems that the healing process went much easier with the cautery gun too.

Well from my experience and what friends who've had it done with a scapel have said I'd definitely say the cautery gun is the better method. It did hurt for a few weeks after; especially when the nerve endings started kicking back in. he he. The pain of getting it done was quite intense but bareable. I imagine you'd probably feel the scapel less but the healing takes longer.

Well, according to friends who've had it done with a scalpel, the cautery method does seem to be favourable with regard to healing. One lad I know could barely eat, drink or talk for at least a week. With me it was a tad difficult and painful when the nerve endings started kicking back in and that's about it.

Although I personally have no basis for comparison I could recommend this method based on my experience.

Mine did go further back than you can see on this video but it was getting quite close to my saliva glands so he didn't take it too far back underneath.

I've never heard of ways of enlarging your tongue by training but practice you can make a split tongue do some wonderful things. = )-<
