Getting out there and riding with your friends and having a good time is what its all about, for me watching snowboard movies is simply a catalyst that gets me pumped to go riding, nothing more.
I loved the Art of Flight, I am really looking forward to seeing both Deeper and Further. Trying to compare the different films is an act in futility, they cover completely different aspects of the same activity. If you don't like don't watch it, if you can do better then make a movie showing your superior talent. For people that complain about any of these movies it simply boils down to this, they can't do it themselves and its so much easier to criticize what they can't do, everyone knows that
SWEET! Was watching Deeper again yesterday and love that film. Jeremy and his mates are legends and really take the sport of snowboarding to new ends and really express the true spirit of the sport, moreso than any half arsed freestyle contest.
What's brilliant about this is it mixes hiking, adventure & snowboarding together. I will laugh off the rubbish comments about them getting a helicopter, anyone who mentions that obviously does not have the mental capacity to understand what this movie is actually about!
Deeper is probably my all time favorite, definitely looking forward to further, higher!
@ijustshotmarvin dude i get it..."Its all about the natural aspect of snowboarding, and it makes the run that much greater," but no-one else cares about it except for the person who is doing it. And, If "Jeremy Jones" was doing this without a helicopter for his own "Self -finding experience", than why is he geting filmed and making a documentary about it? All i am saying is that im not gonna watch something that i can do myself. (hike up a mountain just for one run)
@335suzuki Evidently a lot of people do care about it, which is probably the reason why 'Deeper' won a tonne of awards and has enough people looking forward to seeing 'Further'. It might be for his own self-finding experience, but that doesn't mean to say an audience wouldn't enjoy watching it, quite the opposite. It adds something different to the other snowboard movies out there. Just because you aint into it, doesn't mean to say others won't be.
@335suzuki I bet you can't do this yourself, because some of the mountaineering they do is insane, as well as the lines they take to get down. And the whole reason why they don't use a helicopter, is because they are out way beyond the zones that a helicopter can fly. At least watch the film before you try to give criticism on it.
@ijustshotmarvin I bet i could do the climbing, I am a young athlete; as well as a good snowboarder. There's always going to be people that will never do this type of stuff, but enjoy watching it..like football fans. And did you watch The Art of Flight? They were way far out and they were using a helicopter...These people are just broke and probably can't afford one.
@335suzuki It's pointless attempting to reason with someone like you, you are the epitome of a delusional hater. 'These people' are some of the best boarders in the world, Jones being an absolute pioneer of big mountain boarding. I have seen The Art of Flight, it's awesome. But to say that they were as far out as you can go is a retarded statement. There's a reason why many of the peaks in Alaska are unnamed and haven't been topped, because they are in inaccessible areas!
@ijustshotmarvin Really? google earth is uncapable of locating hard-to-reach mountian ranges? No-thats why lots of mountains have numbers, ex. 7601 (terje's). Whatever, why don't you "find yourself" instead of watching someone climb up a mountain that isn't that steep....
@tito4018 I watch videos that are on my home mountain, and videos that push the limit on snowboarding. Look up "Superspines B.C." by Burton...that is the most recent video I have watched that is good...I can't remember the other ones
deeper rocks. This looks like it's going to rock. I think I'm going to get a blu ray player just for these films!

Anyone that snowboards, that does not respect what they do.. is not a real snowboarder. You have no clue what you are even talking about, so stop.
